"are you okay, you're dad wasn't too angry was he" Antonio asked.

It was a new day and Emilia was getting stuff from her locker when Antonio arrived. He had been telling her about his parents reaction to him getting trouble when he saw she was only quiet.

"Grounded but that's about it" Emilia quickly replied.

"Luca isn't about, we can talk if something is bothering you" Antonio said knowing Luca didn't like them talking.

" nothing. I'm fine. Why can't you just leave me alone" she snapped and walked away.

Antonio thought after yesterday they could be friends again, he felt hurt that she had snapped at him like that.  He decided to give her what she wanted and leave her alone.

The school day passed quickly, Emilia barely spoke to anyone, she convinced Luca that she had to study during lunch and so she left the cafeteria after eating lunch and headed to the library she wanted to be alone.

After last night she had been thinking more and more about Henry and everything he had done and said. She wanted to go to Damon but he went out. Mason had said something about him going out for a few drinks.

She had really only properly opened up to Damon and a little to Alesandro. Damon knew more though and so she didn't want to talk about it with anyone else, he had seen her scars.

Luca expected her to be perfect and it was annoying but at the same time he made her feel guilty. He had heard about the water balloon prank, thankfully he didn't know Antonio was involved as he was sent to the principals office seperately.
He wasnt very happy with her, she still remembered his words.

"How stupid can you get Emilia, such a childish prank, you're not a child stop acting like one"

Before she had left to the library he had made another comment this time in front of his friends.

"I suppose you do need to study since you're quite stupid at times"

She kept reminding herself that this was how relationships were, she had nothing to compare it too, her brothers didn't have anyone and all Lexi's boyfriends were dicks. So she figured this was normal.
It wasn't like he was totally bad though, he could be nice sometimes. But that was normal for a relationship.

The day passed and soon she was back home. She didn't really say much on the way home which concerned Dante and Matteo.

"I'm gonna go do homework " she muttered and quickly left.

"Should we get Damon" Matteo asked knowing she hadn't really been about at lunch time either. They had seen her eat lunch and leave and were highly concerned when none of her friends left either.

"She's fine, I'll let dad know" Dante said.

Dante then left and went to the kitchen where their dad was cooking.

"How was school" he asked.

"It was good. Emilia has been very quiet today though, shes barely talking" Dante said.

Instantly Alesandro turned off the hob and oven putting down the wooden spoon in his hand.

"Thanks for telling me" he said and rushed out of the kitchen.

He went straight up to Emilia's room hoping she just wasn't feeling very chatty and it wasn't something serious.

"Emilia can I come in" he said after knocking.

Emilia opened the door minutes later and allowed him to come inside.

"How are you feeling" he asked.

"I'm okay" she wasn't okay.
