Emilia

chapter 5

Sooo I wrote this chapter went to save it and it froze then went back find only first few lines had been saved. So rewriting it, there isn't as many details as there previously was.

Antonio was annoyed maybe even a little angry. He wouldn't show it in front of Emilia because he knew it wouldnt help. He didn't want to scare her.

He couldn't stand Emilia being with Luca. Luca was a player, he wasnt sure what Luca wanted with Emilia but he didn't like it.

He would love to tell Emilia not to go near him but he was well aware that was toxic and he didn't want to show her that.

She had suffered too much and he wanted to take the pain from her.

He wanted to beat Luca up. He wanted to warn him to stay away from Emilia. He definitely could take him if he wanted. He wasn't one to get physical but the reality was, he could beat Luca up and perhaps only gain one or two bruises himself.
He wasn't going to let Emilia see that side of him though. He wouldn't let her have the chance to fear him.

He made his way to class where Sophia was smiling, she rushed over "did you both finally confess your feelings"

"We are just friends besides she's with Luca now, he wanted to walk her to class" Antonio replied.

"Yeah just friends" Sophia said sarcastically.

"Don't even think about it Sophia, if you want someone to tease go find her brother " he said and walked into the classroom.

Sophia quickly went in after him
"What's that suppose to mean "

"You and Dante this morning"  Antonio left it at that.

Meanwhile

"So I think we would be great together "
"Maybe" Emilia was too focused on her work to pay much attention.
"Definitely " Luca replied.

"Who's hoodie was that? Was it Antonio's. He's a bad influence and he's weird, you should stop hanging round him.

"He's my friend, he's not a bad influence and he's not weird" Emilia defended.

"You might think he's your friend but in my opinion he's too close. You should be holding my hand not his"

Emilia was wondering what to reply when he spoke again "I don't like it. You should come to me not him"

Emilia didn't want to upset him she associated that with abuse so she was very careful and decided to just get on with her work.

After school ended, Luca made sure he was holding her hand, he purposely guided her away from where Antonio's locker was and went to say goodbye to his friends. Keeping hold of Emilia a hand  round her waist when he stopped to talk.

They left school and Emilia saw Dante with his fan club at the car. "I should go my brother is waiting" she said.

"Or we could go somewhere " he suggested moving her hair from her face.

"I'm busy tonight"Emilia said.

"That's a shame. Will you think about it tonight. We could be great together, I really do mean it" he said.

Emilia nodded and rushed off to Dante who dismissed the girls when he saw his sister heading towards him.

"How was your day em" he asked.

"It was okay"

"Are you okay"

"Yeah. I just miss Damon"

"Me too"

As soon as Matteo arrived, they went home. When they arrived home it was so quiet that they thought no one was home.

Mason heard the door open and knew his siblings were back but he was too busy to go and greet them. Since Damon was in a coma, he was managing Damon's companies, he was also managing the Mafia in a way. Alesandro was acting head but he was more focused on torturing Henry these days so mason often worked on other aspects. He also had his own tattoo shops to run. He had hired a few people to take his place but he wished to go back. He didn't like them doing his job, he wanted to be there.

He didn't know how Damon managed to work and run the Mafia. It was a heavy work load so much so that he barely had time to sleep.

He realized the time after an hour and decided he needed to make them dinner. Weeks ago Alesandro had decided to continue cooking  for them so he had Mary come in to clean during the day I stead of cooking and cleaning. He kept her salary the same so she wouldn't have to worry about money.

He went downstairs and made a quick dinner, his siblings soon came to the kitchen smelling food being cooked.

"Take a seat. We will eat in the kitchen today" Mason said. They occasionally had breakfast on the kitchen island but never dinner.

"So tell me about your days" Mason asked.

"It was good, I was hoping to see Damon though" Emilia asked. She wanted to tell him all about today even if he couldn't hear.

"It's getting late" Mason said.

"Please just for an hour" she asked.

"Okay fine after dinner I'll take you. Boys do you want to come"

"I'm good" Dante replied

"Yeah me too"

After dinner Mason and Emilia got in masons car. Mason couldn't deny her the request to see him but he was curious as it seemed important to see him today.

"Did something happen" he asked.

"No. Not really. I just want to tell him about Luca"

"I see"  Mason said instantly greatful she wasn't going to him. He would only get way to protective and end up insulting Luca. He didn't want to hurt his sister's feelings

"Well we are almost there" he said noticing the signs were getting more frequent.

Okay so it's not the best chapter but it will be better once I get into the actual story.
