I went after Zena. When I got to the door, she was on her knees at the sight of what had already happened to Julien. The creature spoke as if he knew her, and without warning, she got up and took off running.

The demon began to walk after her, ignoring my presence.

"Julien, you're having a rough day, aren't you."

I gathered my son's body, along with his limbs, then made my way to the graveyard.

My worry for Zena began to mix with my fear of not burying my son in time. I thought I was going to lose my sanity.

"Hold on, Julien."

My children were my world, and although they give me hell sometimes, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

I saw a hole already dug next to the willow tree, and I dragged my son into it. His head hung and moved like a rag doll, and my eyes filled with tears. I placed Julien face up, then put his limbs back in their rightful place. I climbed out of the hole and called to our Lord.

"Nosferatu, please have mercy upon my son. He is a child of yours, heal his body and make him brand new, my Lord."

I kneeled and spoke my words, then began to cover his body with dirt.

"Rest my son. We'll be waiting for you."

Zena ran as fast, and as far as her legs could take her. The beast walked but still was on her trail. She wiped her tears at the thought of Julien being ripped apart. It caused her stomach to turn but held back her vomit.

She ran past Justine and Tabitha, who were both slain, laying across the grass.

"I'm going to catch you."

The beast's voice echoed her surroundings. The muscles in her legs burned, but she kept running. Black railings came into her view, and she ran towards them.

Soon, hands broke through the dirt, grabbing her ankles. She fell to the ground on contact.

"I told you I'd catch you."

"Leave me alone! Please, just go away!" Zena sobbed, trying to pull her legs away.

"Why would I do that? You're the only reason I've come here. I can't turn back now."

His huge hand grabbed her waist, and she screamed.

"Don't cry...I haven't even started yet."

He licked her cheek, and Zena gagged from the smell of his breath.

"What is your name?"

Her words were kept quiet until he squeezed.

"ZENA!" She shouted in pain.

"Zena...Mmmm."

She took out her taser, then pressed it against his hand...it did nothing, and her frustration grew.

"Shit!"

The creature laughed. "Nice try."

Cracks began to form in the ground. Red beams of light came through, getting bigger, and the ground opened up. The rush of terror and anxiety filled her body, causing Zena to suddenly pass out.

I didn't know where I was or what was going to happen to me. My body felt weak, and my wrists were wrapped in chains. The cold ground I sat on made my body shiver...all I could do was cry Julien's name.

The dread that filled my soul was painful. At this point, it didn't matter if I lived. We were finally together again only to be pulled apart once more.

"Please be okay...please let him be okay." My tears continued to fall.

I pulled my arms but didn't get far from the stone wall because the chains were attached. The door slowly opened, and I froze in place.

"You're finally awake."

The woman in my dream was standing in the doorway. My heart was beating fast as I pressed my back against the wall. She released both my wrists.

"Follow me. If you behave, Mastema will reward you."

I followed her, looking around me. The long hall was lit by lamps hanging on the wall. Her jet-black hair hung down her back as her heels clicked against the stone ground.

We went up some stairs, and I quickly noticed...we were in Julien's home. I was surprised but at the same time confused.

When we walked into the great room, I yelped at the sight of a big man eating from the neck of Ms. Andrea. Her eyes were open, but she didn't move, and my chest began to hurt.

"No, no, no...why would you do that to her!" I cried out.

My body shook while he dropped her on the floor as if she were nothing.

"That's life, child. We are all prey to someone or something."

The dark-haired woman's words made me angry but helpless. The man looked at me as he sat in a chair. I slowly realized he was the beast that took me. His appearance was more human, but I still could smell his stench.

"Come here, Zena."

"You might as well kill me now."

I refused to move and was ready to die.
