He paused for a moment before adding. “Could it be that you’re relying on Jeon Jungkook’s influence to bully others?”
“This is unrelated to Jungkook.” Lisa smiled coldly. “As Tzuyu’s friend, I have the right to protect her from danger.”
“You speak as if I would harm her. I’m her boyfriend. I’ll always be the first to protect her.”
Lisa pointed out coldly, “If she is completely fine and only asleep, why would she remain asleep despite our conversation?”
“She was very unhappy that you sent someone to watch her yesterday. She didn’t sleep well so she’s sleeping quite deeply right now…”
He wanted to continue but Lisa could not be bothered to listen to his nonsense. She grabbed the back of his collar and lifted him up. After that, she threw him out mercilessly.
Sungjae did not expect her to be so strong as he fell head-first onto the ground. He cried out in pain, “Ah…”
Lisa took this opportunity to lift Tzuyu’s skirt.
She saw that her underwear appeared untouched and she did not seem to have any injuries. She finally set her heart at ease.
This indicated that Tzuyu had yet to lose her innocence.
She covered her skirt properly and gently patted her face. “Tzuyu, wake up!”
She patted her a few times but did not receive any reaction.
She immediately glared at Sungjae. “What did you feed her?”
Sungjae stood up from the ground in a sorry figure. His expression was filled with rage as he considered killing Lisa.
However, he quickly recalled that she was Jungkook’s fiancée and did not dare to act lightly. “She is just sleeping deeply. I didn’t feed her anything.”
Lisa, this ugly trash, had ruined his good matter. If she did not appear, he would have successfully bedded Sun Jiamu!
“Is that so?” Lisa did not believe him. She continued shaking and calling Tzuyu. Tzuyu finally then opened her eyes. She appeared especially tired. “Lisa, you’re here…”
The joy in her gaze could not be concealed.
She immediately sat up and lowered her head to check her own clothes. When she saw that she was still properly dressed, she immediately sighed in relief.
She held onto Lisa’s hands tightly and requested. “Don’t leave. Stay here with me.”
“Alright, I won’t leave,” Lisa promised.
Tzuyu relaxed finally.
Sungjae approached the bed and gently addressed Tzuyu, “Tzu, you’re awake. Do you feel any discomfort?”
“Go away!” Tzuyu had also noticed something to be amiss.
“What’s wrong, Tzu?” Sungjae appeared confused. “You were fine earlier. Why are you suddenly upset at me?”
Tzuyu struggled to explain this as well.
A hint of hurt appeared in Sungjae’s charming expression. “Just because your friend doesn’t like me, your attitude towards me has changed.”
“No…” She felt that something wasn’t right about Sungjae.
Lisa carefully examined Tzuyu’s complexion before asking. “My dear, do you feel especially weak and tired? You can’t even raise your hand, can you?”
“Yes.” Tzuyu nodded.
Lisa’s expression turned heavy. “Those are the symptoms of having taken sleeping pills.”
“But I didn’t take any…”
Sungjae also rushed to say, “Tzuyu and I didn’t share anything to eat today.”
Lisa continued asking Tzuyu. “After Yook Sungjae came here, did he come into contact with anything you ate or drank?”
Tzuyu contemplated for a moment before responding. “I had a glass of water. At the time, he was also in the living room. Right after that, I felt especially tired and he supported me upstairs to lay down. Afterwards, I was so tired that I couldn’t open my eyes. The moment I woke up, I saw you.”
