Yang Fen looked slightly apologetic. “Miss Lee, the truth is, I only wrote that post because Madam Lee Lilan instructed me to. I received her money and had to follow her orders. After the matter, I felt very upset and was worried that CEO Jeon would punish me. Therefore, I went to apologise to him.”
Lisa smirked mockingly. “You sure are interesting. You slandered me for being unfilial but you apologised to Jungkook and not me?”
“This…” Yang Fen bit her bottom lip. “I wasn’t able to reach you.”
“It’s much harder to meet Jungkook than to meet me.” Lisa responded carelessly. “With your method of running into a moving car, if you had stepped in the way of his car rather than mine, you most likely would have been directly crushed under his wheels.”
When Yang Fen heard this, she immediately felt her goosebumps rising in fear. “Anyway, CEO Jeon was very upset about the post I wrote. After I apologised sincerely, CEO Jeon's anger finally receded. Coincidentally, his phone was out of battery, so he borrowed mine to make a call. After the incident, we ended up having each other’s contact number. As you know, Jungkook is the object of the entire country’s admiration. There are countless women who have feelings for him. I’m no different. I sent CEO Jeon a lot of messages but he never once responded to me.”
Yang Fen observed Lisa’s reaction as she spoke and looked for the slightest hint of anger. However, Lisa remained expressionless and did not reveal anything.
Yang Fen could only continue. “I originally assumed that the messages I sent CEO Jeon were futile and I was about to give up all hopes regarding him. However, that night, he suddenly made an urgent call to me and told me to go to Dan Feng Bai Lu Hotel. He said he had accidentally taken an aphrodisiac and needed a woman. Furthermore, he had failed to contact you that night.”
She continued scrutinising Lisa's expression. But the other party remained unmoved.
Yang Fen suddenly felt apprehensive and carefully said, “I’m sure you know that countless women in this country can only dream of climbing into CEO Jeon's bed. I’m not an exception. That night, despite my uncertainties, I rushed to Dan Feng Bai Lu Hotel and became intimate with CEO Jeon.”
Lisa did not bother to even pretend to put on an angry expression. Instead, she asked indifferently. “Are you done with your lies?”
“How am I lying?” Yang Fen frowned in anger. “Miss Lee, I know that you have trouble accepting this, but things have already happened.” She suddenly smiled with joy. “I didn’t expect someone as cold-hearted as CEO Jeon to have such a gentle side to him. That night, he actually carried me out of the hotel. More surprisingly, someone took a photo of us and sent it to my phone to threaten me.”
“Oh?” Lisa finally appeared interested. “How did they threaten you?”
“The other party demanded a sum of money and threatened to release the photo to the public otherwise. If that happens, I’ll be known as a third party.” Yang Fen smiled bitterly. “Miss Lee, I’m sure you know this but I’m really short on money. Otherwise, I would never have accepted your mother’s offer to criticise you for being unfilial. After all, there are no grievances between us. Please do not resent me for that matter. I was only carrying out my task after receiving her money. In other words, even if I didn’t make that post, as long as your mother offered the money, someone else would have done it.”
“Indeed.” Lisa responded., “That is why I didn’t look for you. I even spoke up for you when Jungkook tried to take your life in revenge.” She smirked mockingly. “Otherwise, do you think you would have been able to stand here with your life intact?”
