She immediately raised her voice. “Tzuyu, Tzuyu? Are you at home? Open the door. If you won’t open the door, I’m going to start banging on it!”

Immediately after saying so, she kicked the villa’s door harshly with a loud noise.

There was no response. So, she continued kicking the door.

Her actions remained futile and she contemplated using her special powers to gain entry.

At this moment, she heard footsteps approaching. The villa door opened finally.

A man dressed in a plaid button up and dress pants stood at the door. His features appeared cheerful and refined. However, Lisa noticed a hint of viciousness in his eyes.

He smiled lightly. “Hello, are you Lee Lalisa?”

“Yook Sungjae.” She was certain about his identity.

Lisa sized him up and found his smile fake to the point where it left her nauseous.

In her previous life, she had seen his face in a magazine right before she lost her sight.

“I am.” Sungjae offered his left hand to her. “Hello, I’m Tzuyu’s boyfriend. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Lisa was not interested in shaking hands with him. She shoved him aside and immediately headed into the villa. “Why are you here? You took so long to open the door. Where’s Tzuyu?”

The living room was luxuriously decorated. All the technology in the house was also especially costly. However, there wasn’t anyone else besides them.

“Where are the Chou family’s helpers? Where are Father Chou and Mother Chou?” She continued asking as she headed up the second floor.

Tzuyu had previously mentioned that her bedroom was the first room on the second floor.

“Uncle Chou and Auntie Chou have left to work. The helpers took a day off.” Sungjae quickly followed after her to explain. “Tzuyu is resting in the room on the second floor. She isn’t feeling well. I was taking care of her earlier so it took me some time to open the door.”

He made it sound as though everything was appropriate.

“Is that so?” Lisa paused in her steps and turned back to see that Sungjae appeared calm.

Her gaze held a warning. “Let me tell you, Yook one, you better don’t have any inappropriate thoughts about Jiamu. If anything happens to her, I’ll definitely bury you with her!”

“You…” Sungjae’s expression darkened for a moment before it eased. “Miss Lee, what do you mean by that? Tzuyu is my girlfriend. If this is what you mean by having inappropriate thoughts, it’s only right that I have them. As for others, I would only protect Tzuyu. How could I possibly harm her?”

Lisa could not be bothered to listen to this beast in disguise prattle on. She entered the first room on the second floor and saw that Tzuyu was laying on the bed with her eyes closed.

There was a thin blanket on her and she appeared to be asleep.

“Tzuyu is sick. She only just fell asleep.” Sungjae sat down by her side and whispered. “Miss Lee, please speak quietly and don’t wake her up.”

Lisa tugged aside the sheets to see that Tzuyu was wearing a sleeveless sleeping gown. There was a red mark on her fair elbow.

Her gaze turned cold as she glared at Sungjae. “What happened to her elbow?”

There weren’t any changes in Sungjae’s expression. “Earlier, she said she was feeling dizzy in the washroom so I carried her here. I must have been too nervous and used too much force.”

“Is that so? Turn around.” Lisa suddenly instructed harshly.

Sungjae clenched his fists tightly beneath his sleeves.

This ugly, Lisa. If she wasn’t Jungkook’s fiancée, and if he did not fear the Jeon family’s power, he would never allow himself to be instructed by her!

“Miss Lee, do you have to look at me like I’m a criminal?” Sungjae’s expression was extremely poor. “What right do you have to tell me what to do?”
