Ayesha.

"You offered What?!" Sharanya exclaimed and Nisha glared at me while I stood there with a sheepish smile

"Guys chill-" I wanted to try make them understand the situation. Keyword try.
"Shut up!" They both intruppted and I clicked my teeth shut

"And why the fuck were you lying since Shekhar Bhai's engagement?" Nisha narrowed her eyes at me and I grinned
"You motherfucking walking red flag!", Sharanya cursed and my jaw touched the floor

"What are you trying make your life? A book with forced proximity trope?" She questioned frowning and my forehead ceased
"No-" I was again intruppted

"No? What no? Then why the fuck you were soo impulsive to offer fake dating Rehaan?" Nisha screeched and I closed my eyes
"Guys understand-" I. Was. Again. Intruppted!

"Understand what-" That was Sharanya
"You were literally lying looking into our eyes-" That was Nisha
"Are you sexually attracted to Rehaan-" That was again Sharanya. Ok what the hell?!

"Guys! SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I shouted effectively shutting them up and silence ticked between us and that was my turn to speak

"It happened a week ago and I heard no response from Rehaan. I think he found his way out and now it's just me in this mess.", I started thinking how stupid I were to hope that he will agree with my terms. He is good. He might be the best. But to the ones he care for and I am no one in competition with his company and reputation

"He is a businessman and he obviously is concerned for his company than saving me from getting tamed by media. I do not expect anything from him and guys I need a way out." I slumped down on the couch and held my head in my hands. I am tensed that the bomb will blast anytime now and I am running out of time.

"Ayesha baby", I heard Nisha's soothing voice and the sofa dipped on my either sides
"We will find a way out." She whispered and I nodded

"I wish." I whispered. Please Mahadev. I begged
"Ayesha, your phone." Sharanya passed me my cell phone and I stiffened clutching it tighter in my grip. An unknown number. I prayed, it not to be Sarang Mahtre.

I answered it and Sharanya kept it on speaker and I felt a sense of security with my friends on my either sides for moral support

"Ayesha." I heard a deep, rich and authoritative voice on the other end and my breathe hitched as soon as I recognised his voice and abruptly stood up and strode out to the balcony closing the speaker. Talking to him around them and security to peace? Not possible.

"Princess, you there?" He questioned and I nodded as if he could see me but what caught me off guard was vigorous coughing on the other end and the line went dead silent but the shuffling sound was back

"Y-yeah." I stammered and I can literally picture him smirking
"So?", I broke the silence
"What made you call me?" I asked leaning back on the wall and he cleared his throat

"You offer still stands?" He questioned and my eyes lit up as I grinned
"You want to agree?" I questioned maintaining a calculating tone

"You want me to?" He questioned back as if sensing my newfound happiness.
"Oh shut up. I don't want anything from you." I faked nonchalant tone. I am an Advocate for no reason. I internally prayed that he doesn't change his mind

"I see, here I thought I was helping both of us but now that you don't want anything from me so bye-" He almost completed and I panicked

"No, please. No, I mean, you called to agree with me?" I literally begged at first but when I realised how pathetic I sounded so I tried to make up to my please.
