Ayesha.

"This is too heavy." I stated twirling around to get a better look of the lehnga I am wearing

"Yeah, and the function you are attending tonight is the fucking engagement of my brother." Nisha remarked and I scoffed

"Ayesha, has anyone ever told you how annoying you are?" Nisha questioned frowning and Sharanya went to hunt another sparkling dress for tonight

I understand it was my fault to not select a dress prior from the day of engagement but I could never help myself with the shortage of time shopping cause

"I love you." I replied grinning and she scowled when Sharanya reappeared and shoved a dress in my hands

"Try this." She said and I pouted walking back to the trial room and stripped off the heavy lehnga I just tried and got into the another one and that's it.

This looked appropriate, beautiful and most importantly this dress is comfortable, it's blouse had threads on the back holding onto it but for the safety it had a hook at the bottom one or two centimetres below where the threads ended.

The white lehnga was beautifully crafted clearly could compliment anyone's beauty. I twirled around giving myself another lingering look I walked out.

Nisha and Sharanya looked at me approving the dress through their eyes I grinned before I got back into my formals. Yeah, they dragged me out of the office. Assholes.

"Till they alter it let's get you matching jewellery." Nisha suggested glaring at me and I smiled sheepishly

"I love you." I cooed
"I wish, I did too." She snapped and I pouted while she dragged me out

I roamed my eyes all around in search of gorgeous men but alas! There were none. Why God, why? All I wished was to eyefuck some gorgeous men. Is it too much to ask for?

I felt someone tapping my shoulder and I turned around after getting my hand out of Nisha's grip just to see Jiya Kaur. An old friend of mine but I would say it was just a formality nothing like what friendship actually is infact, I never contacted her after I left Chandigarh.

"Hi, Agnihotri." She greeted hugging me and I wrapped my arms around her waist

"Hi, Kaur." I greeted back and she broke the hug shaking her head
"That's Rajvansh now." She rectified me and I let out a gasp

"You are married?" I asked her and she nodded smiling out loud. She looked happy as ever.

"Infact, I also have a little girl." She planted another bomb and I looked at her astound
"You literally fell in love and reproduced but didn't bother to call me!" I complained wiping my fake tears

"You saying it as if you tried to contact me like my long lost lover." She rolled her eyes and I smiled sheepishly

"Well, I did not leave Chandigarh on good terms. Life was a mess for the following two years." I whispered suddenly feeling my stomach dip remembering my Grandfather's death. I was too selfish to see him craving my care in his last days.

"Your grandfather. I know." She muttered squeezing my hand and I slightly smiled

"So, you here with your family?" I asked looking over her shoulder in search of her husband and daughter
"Yes, my brother-in-law dropped me." She said and I rose my eyebrows

"Why? Your husband don't know how to drive?" I asked and she chuckled
"No, he's a surgeon." She stated proudly and I looked at Nisha with a smirk

"Then he belongs to her community." I joked making Nisha scoff at me and smile at Jiya
