You step over it revealing its mechanism. A giant claw the size of your body resting on the wall. Surely tripping it would have killed you. You walk a few feet down hall but are suddenly attacked by a falmer from around the corner

It slashes down with its crude sword. You block the blow with your shield. It continues slashing down upon you over and over. You are unable to fight back from its fury. The blows causing you to take a few steps backwards. You trip the wire sending the trap off into your abdomen and face. It kills you instantly sending you flying back and pinning your dead body to the wall.
Future travelers will see your dead body and think you are an idiot for falling to such a plain view trap.
