"You should know Dottore, I am a headstrong independent woman who will not stand for being treated like this. As your assistant, I demand you tell me what you found."
His mind was on the scribblings he wrote on his paper, he didn't bother looking up when he spoke his words. "You should know, you did the experiment before I did."
"So you found the cooldown? or did you come to the conclusion that I messed up by not letting the device warm up before using it?"
"Neither."
"Neither?"
"Neither. Now, if you'll excuse me I have a report to finish."
But that's just not possible. I know my chip. I'm the one who made it, so these have to have been the problems encountered.
In utter denial, I got up from my seat, walked over to Dottore's desk and stepped behind it to be side-by-side with him. My eyes quickly scanned the words he had already written, widening with every sentence.
Findings on subject 21236
Day 1: A chip was located in the subject's right forearm. As explained by the subject, it allows her to travel through dimensions and realms. This is her second time.
The subject stated her troubles in transporting back to her original reality, so naturally, one's curiosity needed to be satiated.
Day 7, following briefing and intermission (to focus on experiment 361 - God): After initial analysis, it has become abundantly clear that this chip is unusable. The edges have been burnt, bent slightly out of shape and soaked in human blood; it is likely the device's system short-circuited as a result of unchecked usability or waterproof potentiality. A new chip would be optimal for Subject 21236's convenience. As discouraging as it is, however, one does not hold the right materials and tools to create such a device.
Nonetheless, one could replicate this device and use the Akasha system to create an improved version of this transportation product. This would further develop Teyvat's current technology pool and enhance prospects for Her Royal Highness, The Tsaritsa.
Further analysis is required to fully understand the hardware and its likelihood of replication.
A potential method of analysis: amputation and cryogenisation.
"You want to do what?" Panic seeped into my body and I began to move away from the desk, suddenly my senses heightened and I could feel every prick of pain from my injuries and every breath I took.
Noticing my presence finally, Dottore stood from his seat and placed his pen down carefully. "Now, we both know you would never agree to this."
"Yeah no shit!" I shook my head at him in exasperation before inching further and further away from the desk, yet closer and closer to the unlocked laboratory door, "Would you?"
"For science I would do anything, y/n!" He passionately proclaimed with his arms spread open. "That's the beauty of it! Don't you see?"
He really was insane, and so was I to think agreeing to this was a good idea.
I bolted for the exit and crashed through the door before slamming my body past a few of Dottore's men, who were holding multiple items of glass tubes and containers, causing me to stumble unsteadily as I picked up the pace.
Rushing through the small corridor, I hardly noticed Dottore calmly informing his men, watching as I made my escape. My mind was focused on its freedom, there was no way my original plan of escape was ever going to happen, not after reading that. I didn't need to gain his trust I just need an opportunity to get the hell out of here, find Aether or anyone with some sort of authority and hide forever.
The matter with my chip will have to wait, I would never believe the words of that man. I can fix this, it will just take some time.
