I wanted to do something slightly different. It took me nearly a month to get this chapter done, but I worked on it EVERYDAY since I last uploaded. If I don't like what I'm writing, I won't feel good about it >_> Plus, there's a lot of you reading and I don't wanna disappoint :3

Okay, so, this chapter is in Harry's POV. Remember chapter 26: reassurance? yeah, the chapter where HELLA shared their first kiss? Well, I brought it back. It's in Harry's POV ;D I really do hope you enjoy. This chapter is a little sad though. ESPECIALLY THE ENDING. I mean, what? I'll shut up and let you read for yourself.

Chapter 34 : Rewind then Fast Forward.

-Harry-

Everyone engaged in the water gun fight Lou ever so creatively thought of. I watched absentmindedly while placing the glass bottle to my lips, taking a swing of the bitter drink that left a series of burning sensations in my throat.

Ella and Josh chased each other around for what seemed like an eternity. I couldn't help but watch with jealousy. She didn't dare once look my way as the two pelted one another with water. I was dying for her attention, for her to at least look at me, but the last time we locked eyes, hers filled with pain. That was enough to make my heart ache.

Something was bothering her. I couldn't help but feel like I was the cause behind it all. Once upon a time, everything was less complicated and we were all about jokes and having fun. We laughed until we cried. Played around until we were purple. And I honestly missed those times where we were care free and every single one of our problems were minuscule. Then feelings started to develop.

If her being happy meant the end of us, I'd be all willing no matter how much I hated the idea of living without her. With each passing second of her not talking to me, I wish I could go back in time to all the great memories we shared and freeze those moments. The sound of her name makes my heart fall apart. Some how, she kicked all my walls in, something no one has done before.

Placing the bottle to my lips for the hundredth time, I emptied it of its contents and dropped it to the floor, creating a small clattering sound. The others glanced my way at the noise. I ignored their lingering stares and shut my eyes closed. Within minutes, I was day dreaming. I allowed myself to return to that moment in time when everything was perfect; the moment when what I wanted was clear as day.

Ella trudged into the room with a playful smile on her face. She moved with caution, but once her eyes landed on me, her face fell and the happy expression she wore was replaced by confusion and sadness.

After all the trouble that's happened the past day, of course she'd have her own emotions toward it. What I really wondered was what she thought during and after the ball. The night turned out worse than planned.

Tossing my thoughts aside, I watched as Ella wiped off whatever whipped cream was left on her palms onto her trousers. I saw this as an opportunity to break the unsettling silence, "sorry about the whipped cream. I just wanted to talk to you," I paused, stuffing my hands into my pockets, "this was the only way I knew how to get you alone."

She waved off my apology. "It's fine, Harry. Are you okay?"

My jaw clenched. I'd gotten myself into a bit of trouble before. It was okay, at least it was going to be, anyway. I simply shrugged. "Don't worry about me. Are you okay?"

Moments passed by before she opened her lips to reply, "yeah, I'm fine."

Soon as those words fell form her lips, I knew it was a lie. She wasn't one hundred percent okay, but I wasn't going to push or pry. If Ella wanted to tell me, I knew she would.
