It had been a month since the attack on the vilage. A new Kage had been selected but for now we were on medical leave. Innen had sustained heavy damage from overusing Amaterasu as well as serious chakra burns from overuse of his chakra blade. Nanato was unscratched because of her fast healing but she was busy working at the hospital. Kirai was not a serious case but she was put on medical leave as well Naruto was leaving the village soon so my team and I was heading to the gate to say goodbye.

Nanato and Naruto were holding one another promising that they would keep in touch. To be honest I was amazed that I didn't tear up when I said my goodbye. Innen's goodbye was more of him telling Naruto to behave, he was more of a big brother than a friend. I wanted to hurry to get this over. I had an appointment with a friend that I needed to be at. In all honesty I thought the blond bimbo was insane when she told me her idea. As we separated I headed for the location I was met by my contact. "Well hi Itachi."
