Eyra did not react immediately to the news, however, as soon as she saw Baela and her nephews at his door, she stood up and went with them; they headed to the beach to see who the dragon thief was.

-is he - esclama Rhena

-it's me- replies Aemond

-Vhagar was my mother's dragon, it was mine to claim- continues Rhena

-Your mother is dead, now Vhagar has a new knight- replies Aemond

- Sagon Lyka, Aemond! Nyke'm daorun naejot ivestragon nykeā hāedar qilōni sepār ojūdan zȳhon muñnykeā (Shut up Aemond! I am not a thing to say to a girl who has just lost her mother) - answers Eyra in high Valyrian; Aemond was amazed at her sister's response because he believed she would side with him, but turned her back. Aemond decided to ignore her and not answer her so he turned to Rhena and said:

-Ask your cousins to procure a pig and watch out because the first flight is the most difficult-

Eyra was stunned, she knew that Aemond got along with a few people but she would not have imagined that he would come to the point of disrespecting Leana and insulting her daughters in their house. Without thinking twice, she threw himself on Aemond, began to beat him and yell at him with tears in his eyes:

-You're just a bastard, you never settle for anything, Rhaenyra had offered you an egg from the brood of Syrax but you refused, I'm not saying you couldn't claim Vhagar but at least you could wait a day and not insult the memory of Laena-

Eyra continues to beat his brother who, after several punches, he manages to repel her by pulling a headbutt on her nose causing Baele to intervene and try to push Aemond back to the ground but the latter pushes her back and throws her to the ground so Rhena approaches and punches him in the face.

Aemond grabs a stone and hits Jacaerys in the head, stunned him, and Lucerys, seeing his wounded brother, ran to meet Aemond ready to beat him but was grabbed by the latter's neck who said:

- You'll die in the fire like your father, you bastards-

- My father is still alive- replies Luke.

-Does he not know? - Aemond asks mockingly.

- Don't you dare say anything to him Gundja (asshole) - exclaims angry Eyra; Luke was confused so he tried to turn his head to look at Eyra and Jace, so Aemond took the opportunity to raise his arm, with which he held the stone, and hit young Velaryon. Eyra, seeing the action of his brother, put himself in the middle so the stone cut her cheek, the girl screamed from pain and collapsed on the ground holding the cheek; Aemond let go of the grip he had on Luke to control his sister but the young Velaryon beat him on time.

- Eyra, are you okay? Please look at me- beg Luke

-Eyra I am sorry not.. - Aemond did not have time to finish the sentence that Jace, after recovering from the blow on his head, placate him on the ground trying to take the stone from the hands of the Targaryen.

Aemond, however, was stronger and managed to hit Jace one more time on the head sending him to the ground; he prepared to hit the boy again until he feel a blade cut his face; he immediately collapsed on the ground screaming in pain and squeezing the injured point.

The guards, hearing the noise, rushed to check what was going on and were shocked by what they saw; Ser Criston also arrived and, as soon as he saw the prince on the ground, he coerced him by saying:

-My prince, let me see, on courage; call a septa-

Ser Criston turns to see who was behind this atrocity and is frozen to see who holds the knife.
