Back at Bright Moon we report what we saw. Catra had not said one Word the entire time. It hurt to see her like this. We were still in the Queen's Throne Room, finishing our explanation. On our way, Glimmer had informed us what they have been through and vice versa.
The Queen seemed uncertain how to react "That is quite....disturbing News. Entrapta you may leave to rest up. You will Leave tomorrow with the first Wave to further analyze the Fright Zone's anomaly and the Runestones"
"Okay" is all the Girl says, before leaving. Catra tugged on my Jacket to signal me on something and i knew what she wanted so i ask the Queen
"Will we be able to help? You are going to need people that can tell you where everything used to be before.....you know"
The Queen considered this "very well. Take Catra and Scorpia if they are willing" her face softened "I ...will not force any of you to go there but i will also not forbid it" Catra just nodded and we turn to leave
"Thank you, your Majesty" i say before making our way towards our Room
Once in our Room i Hug my Girlfriend from behind, which is enough to make Catra sob. "I know Catra...i know" i say holding back my own Tears.
"Its gone...Adora. Our Home is gone" she gets out, sinking to her knees, while I follow, not breaking the Hug. We stay like this for a bit until I turn her around and pull her into my Lap.
"I know how you feel. It used to be my Home too....a shit one but still what we needed to survive. But you are wrong....my Home is still here Catra. No matter what happens, wherever you are, i am Home." Catra hugs me back still crying but starting to get a grip on her Emotions
"You k....know i f...feel the same b.. but the Fright Z...zone.... i mean there were so many Memories ....our whole Childhood was in t...that Place" I cup her Face, touch her Forehead with mine and tell her "and those Memories are still here with us...the Good and the Bad" i Kiss her softly, tasting our combined salty Tears.
We stay in each others Arms until a knock on our Door wakes us from our own little World. I kiss Catras forehead again and give her a moment to stand up, knowing that she would not like anyone but me to see her in this state. I open the Door and a Guard informs me that the Queen asked for our presence. I tell him we are on our way before turning to Catra "feel a bit better?" "yeah.. i'm okay. Thanks for ....ya know being here"
I hug her again burying my Head in her neck "I am never leaving you again Catra. I love you" finally i get a little smile out of my Girlfriend
"yeah me too dummy"
We walk out Hand in Hand, both of us presumably feeling more grounded, knowing the other is here. Once back in front of the Throne Room we knock and are let in. Inside we see the Queen now with a few Advisors with three figures on their knees in front of them. Catra and I immediately recognize the People in horde Uniforms but bow in front of the Queen. There kneeled Lonnie, Rogelio and Kyle looking badly hurt. I wanted to say something but didn't want to make it look like I undermined the Queen's authority in front of her Advisors...again.
"Adora, do you know these three?" The Queen asked
"Yes, your Majesty. They are Lonnie, Rogelio and Kyle. We grew up with them and they are by no means Evil nor in a position of Control in the Horde...at least as far as i know"
Lonnie spoke up "i ...i was made Force Cpt. after Catra left but i had no real Power to speak of" i smile a bit saying "i am beginning to suspect that the Title was always completely meaningless and only supposed to offer us a Goal to chase" all former Horde Soldier noded.
