Narrator POV:
Adora rushes through the Doors of her Room and does as Light Hope told her to do. The waiting was the hard part of this and the Ball of light had not spoken since she left the Ruins.
Hours pass with no change, not helping Adora worry any less. Bow and Glimmer joined her with some Food later and they started discussing what they had heard in the Ruins.
"So let me gather all of this shit" Glimmer said "The Planet is a literal Weapon, found by the First ones and siphoned for Magic, the Princesses and She-ra could activate it, the very Planet that was MOVED into a different Universe...or System by the last She-ra named Mara and Adora now can't be She-ra because she is Soul Bonded with Catra who is in that Ball of light on top of her still unconscious Body....did i miss something, besides how INSANE i sound, saying all of that?"
"That i would love to back to yesterday when life was simple?" Adora scoffs "just when i thought Shadow Weaver couldn't hurt us anymore.....she needs to Die...no more half measures" pure hatred flaring in her Eyes
"How can she do that anyway? i asked my Aunt for some help with the Magic stuff...my Mom knows a lot but she has no idea what this is" Glimmer told the rest "i already send Word out but have yet not heard back"
"Shadow Weaver uses the Black Garnet, A Runestone she taps into to increase her Magic thats why shes so Powerful"
"The Horde has a Runestone?...why?" asked Bow
"no idea" Adora admits
suddenly a 4th Voice said "because it was there when Hordak created the Fright Zone" Catra slowly got up before Adora tackled her back to the bed, Tears in her Eyes.
"Catra...you're back" cupping her Face "Areyouokareyouhurtdoyouneddanythingpleasebeokey" Catra shuts her up by kissing her
"im okey, dummy", earning a "Ooohw" from Bow.
"what happened exactly" Glimmer asked her after a short hug so Catra started to tell them everything while Eating some of the Food
"....and that's when I heard Adoras Voice...also i heard everything after and yeah.....that's a lot" she gave Adora a long look with an unreadable expression that changed into a smile. They had a long conversation going over what to do next
"So I am going back to Light Hope with Catra to learn more while Bow and Glimmer try to find Perfuma and Entrapta that apparently both disappeared. Any questions?" Adora asked
"What about Shadow Weaver?" Catra asks
"We will deal with her once i can control my Powers better" Adora says, holding her Hand
"Fine then let's go see how you can do that"
Catras POV:
Yesterday gave us all more questions than answers. I was a little worried about all that Soulbound stuff and making me feel like my own feelings were decided by someone else, sucked hard but I would not let this get between me and Adora. "Destiny or whatever they called it i dont give a shit, i Loved her forever and nothing's gonna change that....just hope she feels the same way" i thought, a bit worried
Adora was talking to Light Hope "So Mara used a Giant Portal to transport the whole Planet, why exactly?" "To stop the first ones from using the Weapon" I remembered Hordak talking about something like this, so i figured i'd ask the all knowing AI "Do you know who Horde Prime is?" she looked at me "Horde Prime is the ruler of the Universe Etheria used to belong to. A ruthless dictator that subjugated all Planets he could"
"interesting.....what is his connection to Hordak?"
"that i don't know, Catra". Well shit "worth the try" i thought.
"How can i become She-ra again? We still have a War to fight and i think i am going to need her for that"
"Try to remember how you felt when you self realized for the first time Adora. You need to feel like that again and learn to summon the same Strength you had back then"
"How do i do that? Can't nearly kill Catra every time She-ra is needed"
"i would prefer a different method, not gonna lie" i say a bit too sassy.
"Try to imagine her death, Adora" Light Hope told her.
Adora stood in the middle of the Room for a moment, with nothing happening. Until Tears started to fall out of Adoras closed Eyes. When she opened them they glow a beautiful Blue that spread more and more until she suddenly Turned into She-ra. "Now you only need to train to do that without.."
"I got it" Adora interrupted "It's not sadness...it's Grief that triggers this Form...Grief for Catra and Grief for the Person i am when i am with her" she transformed and walked over to me. "All i need to feel is that and add a bit of anger...that's all" I smile at her, seeing her figuring this all out, filled me with a sort of Pride i was unfamiliar with... Pride in someone else.
After going over all that she told us yesterday, hours had passed and it was now evening.
We left the Ruins without much talk but I could feel Adora was worried....unsurprisingly. This whole mess was perfect for her Brain to overanalyze.
"You ok babe?" i ask her, taking her Hand
"hmm? yeah...kinda" I stop walking.
"Tell me...did.. did the Soulbounded stuff freak you out?"
"What? No. pfff I mean...at first I was a little..... worried but.... Listen Catra right now, there is not a lot i know or am sure about but i know that we belong together. I don't know what my Future looks like but if you are not in it, i don't want it" "Bitch really knows how to make me feel loved" i thought
"Same here...fuck I love you Adora"
"I love you too" and she kisses me.
Narrator POV:
The two Girls were too distracted to realize what was happening at the Sky in the direction of the Fright Zone. A black Orb was appearing over the Industrial complex, the two once called Home, barely visible over the Trees of the Whispering Woods. Seconds later an earth shattering Explosion occurred that ripped the two out of their little world and threw them both to the ground. The Air became burning Hot, scorching dust hit them both and they struggled to breathe. Catra suddenly felt a bit better only to see She-ra on top of her, covering her with the enlarged Body.
After a few minutes the Dust settled and quiet returned to the Forest, the Heat abating more and more. "WHAT THE EVER LOVING FUCK WAS THAT?" Catra screamed, her Ears still ringing from the Detonation of whatever just happened. Adora, still holding Catra in her arms said "I don't know....but we are gonna find out" she picked Catra up and ran towards the explosion center.
What they found was horrifying. The Fright Zone was nearly completely gone and only burning rubble remained. The Flames still raged in some parts of the freshly created Ruin that once was their Home. Adora detransformed, sunk to her knees, crying and shaking, still holding onto Catra.
Catra couldn't believe what she was looking at. Her Tears felt Hot, running down her Face.
"Wh...what c..c..could have d..done this?" Catra stuttered out but Adora just shook her Head. "We need...we need to look for them" at first Catra had no idea who her Girlfriend was talking about until it hit her "L..Lonnie...Kyle.. Rogelio" Adora nodded and stood up.
They started to walk towards the wreckage.
