Aegon I the conqueror, in the year 0, with the conquest of Westeros unified all seven kingdoms and, with his two wives, ruled until his death.

But this story does not tell of Aegon but of his brother, more specifically twin, very different from him because he had brown hair and eyes. His name was Dearon and he was very attached to Aegon; he fell in love with a beautiful girl, named Emelyn, daughter of the king of Arcadia she, compared to Daeron, had long white hair and a skin as pale as ice. The two married when she had 14 name-day and he 15; the two went to live in Arcadia, a distant land located on an island in the middle of the sea full of mighty oaks and imposing rivers.

The castle was built on the hill in the middle of the most imposing mountain of the island and at its feet were the citadel and the village; the whole kingdom was crossed by the river Arya that flowed into the sea in the form of a waterfall.

Emelyn, to though he wanted to rule could not because of the opposition of the council members to a female ruler, despite his father had tried in every way to change this law with poor results.

When, however, those who opposed this came to know of the union of the princess with Daeron, brother of Agon the conqueror, immediately accepted that she became queen; and so on the 16th name-day of Daeron, on the death of the king, were crowned king and queen. On the 20th of Emelyn's name day she and her husband were brutally assaulted along with their unborn child while their dragons Viserion and Beron, more powerful than Vhaegar but smaller than Balerion, were taken back to the king's landing where they were not ridden for a long time.

Aegon did not take well the death of his brother and sister in law, and made sure that their memory turned into legend; he erased any trace of the existence of Arcadia who remained without rulers and forced to govern herself.

The legend of the two lovers being separated by a cruel fate and power pretensions was spread and a prophecy began to be made: "When two boys, bound by their love, manage to cross the fire they will bring to light the lost city and resurrect it from the ashes and put an end to the dance of death"

Over the years this prophecy became a legend, leaving behind men blinded and led astray by greed, in search of power and a kingdom to rule.

Until, a curious little girl with her best friend, found a book that told this incredible story.
