" Whoa! There really are a ton of chestnuts just layin' around. I'm gonna be livin' large on chestnut tarts! Mmm!" Grim yelled, looking around the schools back yard

"Let's get grabbin'- YOWCH!
Myah! The chestnut spines pricked my paws!" Grim complained after shoving his hand into the leaves to pick a chestnut

" I don't think we can do this with our bare hands. And we need something to put them in, too." Deuce observed

"Maybe we can find some supplies in the botanical garden?" Ace suggested while y/n nodded along

"Let's take a look." Deuce agreed as y/picked Grim up into her arms

The four made their was into the botanical garden of the school.

"Whoa, I didn't realize this place was so huge." Ace awed at the building

"If it's this large, it's got to have a groundskeeper. Let's split up and look." Deuce spoke, looking at y/n and hoping she would be his partner

" Sure. Dibs on having y/n as my partner"Ace yelled out teasingly

"Hey no fair! She's gonna go with me! And we will go left!" Deuce yelled at the red head

"Haha! My henchman is coming with me!" Grim laughed, already running away with y/n in tow

"Hey, come take a look at this!
There's a ton of fruit growing here! Smells like they're ripe, too!" Grim pointed over to a place

"Ano...I think I just stepped in something.." y/n spoke out cautiously, looking down at the floor only to see a tail that led up to a tan guy with cat ears

"Hey! You got some nerve steppin' on my tail and just walkin' away!" The guy growled, getting up off the floor

"Are you the groundskeeper? Not sure you oughta be talkin' to students that way, pal." Grim commented

"Ain't nothin' worse than bein' in the middle of a good nap and havin' some jerk step on your tail." The guy kept on talking angrily

"EEK! Cannibal!!!" Y/n immediacy jumped 5 feet away from the guy when he glared at her. You see.. y/n had actually lost frying pan privileges because on her way to the backyard, she had smacked Crowley in the face with the pan on accident...

"You... I know you. You're that herbivore from orientation who couldn't use magic." The guy spoke, walking up to her as she walked backwards

*sniff* *sniff*

"The cannibal is smelling me to see if I taste good!..." y/n mumbled out, trying to seat the guy away from her

"I dunno what's up with this guy, but when he looks at me, it makes every follicle of fur stand on end..." Grim commented hiding behind y/n

"Hah! Perhaps the mirror was wrong about you...you have a faint flowery scent of magic around you... But anyways, SQUARE UP! Stepping on my tail is going to cost you a haircut!!!" The guy growled angrily making y/n panic.

"He's after my hair!! Mother was right!! He's going to chop off my hair and steal it!!" Y/n frantically mumbled out, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Y/n ! Cheese it!" Grim suddenly yelled

"Leona! There you are!" A different guy yelled out to Leona, who turned around and heaved an annoyed sigh

"Heh?"

"I knew I'd find you here! We got after-school classes today, remember?" The newcomer continued

"Ugh... And now I've got this guy on my tail..." Leona complained

"Leona, you've already had to repeat one year. If you get held back again, we'll be in the same grade!" The guy commented

"Oh, put a sock in it already. I'm tired of all yer yappin', Ruggie." Leona growled, annoyed.
While the argument was happening y/n was creeping away, her hair clumped in her arms protectively

" Look, you think I like always being on your case?
C'mon, man. You act like it'd be hard for you. You could skate through life if you'd just TRY. Come on! Let's go already!" Ruggie lectured the lazy Leona

"Hrmph... Next time you stink up my territory, there's gonna be a price to pay, herbivores!" Leona scowled turning to were y/n and Grim used to be standing, but looked shocked when they had disappeared.

"Myah! I don't like the sound of that! What is up with this nutso?" Grim complained as y/n's shoulder shook in fright, afraid that something might try steal her hair

"I want to go home! I want mother! She was right! She was always right! And the lights-

*gasp*

THE LIGHTS !!!! I never got to see them!!!" Y/n cried, having missed another opportunity to see the lights

"Yo, guys, we found baskets and tongs." Ace walked up to the duo but frowned when he saw a sulking y/n

"What in the world happened to you two?" Deuce asked

" Oh, right, the chestnuts! We gotta gather those chestnuts so I can get my tart on!
We'll fill 'em in on the crazy groundskeeper while we forage." Grim spoke, patting y/n's shoulder sympathetically

"...and then we peaced out!" Grim finished explaining

"Yeah, no way was that guy the groundskeeper." Ace commented

"He's a thug..." y/n spoke out

" Y'know, now that I think about it, he WAS wearin' the golden vest of that Pajama-clog dorm." Grim suddenly realised

"Pajama... clog? You mean Savanaclaw?
You know, I'm starting to think that there's an awful lot of delinquents here at Night Raven..." Deuce commented with a deadpan

"All right, that should be enough chestnuts. Let's get these baskets over to Trey!" Ace concluded, looking at his full basket of chestnuts

"Myahaha! Now that we're all gassed up, it's destination: Flavortown, baby!" Grim cheered while y/n still sulked about their being nonmore lights

In the heartslabyul kitchen stood Trey looking proud that they had managed to get all those chestnuts

"Welcome back. Looks like you got plenty!" Trey commented

"Now you can make us some massive tarts!" Grim yelled out happily

"Well, the bigger the tarts, the harder it'll be to peel all these nuts, so... good luck with that!"
Trey single handedly ruined Grims mood

"We have to peel all of these...? Suddenly the whole room is spinning..." Deuce commented

"Preparation is the key to good baking." Trey explained

"Yeah, yeah, I know. We've come this far. We're not giving up now!" Ace tried to convince the group as y/n sighed and nodded to the boy making him smile at her.

I'm wondering if I should switch to quotev because I'm getting adds ever 2 seconds! Even if I'm just writing!!!
