"Eekk! The ruffians are finally gone! And I didn't even have to use my frying pan!!! I knew I would be safe with you guys!" Y/n spoke with a cute smile on her face making the two boy's faces light up red with a blush.

" Can we just get some lunch already? I missed breakfast, and I'm about to collapse." Ace spoke his face still red

"Sigh* I can't believe this.
Textbook bullies at an academy that's supposed to be famous for producing exceptional mages..." deuce complained

"Aw, get over it already. It's time to chow like the wind! *munch* *munch*
This omelet is as fluffy as a cloud, and practically burstin' with cheese!
*munch* *munch* So, I saw your guys' dorm, but what are the other ones like?" Grim asked while eating his food on y/ns lap.

"I'm sure you're familiar with the statues of the Great Seven?
Night Raven College has a dorm themed after each one." Carter spoke suddenly poping up out of no where

"Bwah! You're that guy from this morning!" Ace recognised

"You tricked us into paintin' those dumb roses!" Grim exclaimed pointing an accusing finger at the said guy

"Tricked" is such an ugly word. Do you think I wanted to spend MY morning painting roses?
It's dorm policy! I was just following orders." Carter spoke trying to defend himself

" And grinning like a fiend all the while." Deuce spoke angrily

"Now, now, Deucey.
Outside of the dorm, I don't care what rules you follow. Here, I'm just a friendly mentor figure!" Carter explained pulling y/n in by the waist next to him

"Please. Do NOT call me Deucey and give y/n back." Deuce spoke

"  Ah ha ha. That's how Cater shows he cares." Another guy spoke, he had dark green hair and wore glasses

"And who are you?" Ace asked the guy

"Another possible cannibal..." y/n muttered but since Carter was close to her he heard what she said and sweatdroped

"Ah, I should introduce myself. The name's Trey.
Trey Clover. I'm a junior at Heartslabyul, like Cater here." He introduced himself and then turned to y/n

"And you must be y/n, the new prefect from that dump of a- ah, I mean, the "rustic" dorm".
I heard the whole story from Cater. Thanks for looking out for our boys yesterday." Trey spoke taking her hand and placing a kiss on it before Carter could warn him of the dangers that came with that action.

*CLANG*

Y/n has swung the pan and knocked Trey out cold.

"Y/N!!!" The three boys yelled as Grim looked completely unbothered, having not been hit by the pan ever.

"He could have been a cannibal.." y/n answered, sitting Trey up and pulling his lips apart to check for fangs

They all deadpanned
"Do I even ask? What are you doing now?" Ace questioned

"Checking for fangs... if he has fangs he's a cannibal." Y/n answered determinedly

Ace just sighed and then turned to Carter

"I don't recall inviting you to sit with us..."

"Hey now, we're all from the same dorm, right? Let's try to get along. Here, gimme your digits." Carter said

"Ano...what's a phone...?" Y/n questioned as Carter asked for her number

" For real? I've read about luddites like you, but never imagined I'd meet one in the wild!
I know a place that sells the latest models cheap. How about you and I go on a phone-shopping date?" Carter spoke, seriously wondering what rock she lived under, first flamingos now phones?!

"What's a date...?" Y/n questioned hesitantly making Carter blanch

" What is up with you, y/n !? First flamingos then phones and now dates!!?
It's okay, baby! Relax! Relaaaaax!
I bet you're the type that's awkward IRL but can text up a storm, huh? Just give me your info already!" Carter spoke pulling her even closer by the waist

"Cater. You're freaking out the freshmen. Maybe take it down a notch?" Trey spoke getting up and holding his pounding head.

"Ha! Sorry! I can get a little extra sometimes. What were we talking about... The dorms, yeah?
Ah, what fun to mentor new students! Go ahead, A-M-A." Carter spoke

"Before you get into the other dorms, I wouldn't mind learning a bit more about ours.
Like, what's the deal with all this "Queen of Hearts rule number whatever" junk?" Ace questioned pulling at his own temporary collar a little

"  I'm sure you're familiar with the legendary Queen of Hearts already?
She had to rule over a kingdom of weirdos, and did it by emphasizing order and making strict rules." Trey explained looking at y/n who shrunk away from him

"Our dorm, Heartslabyul, is an homage to her.
By tradition, we wear armbands with the red and black of the Queen's dress.
And we live by the rules she created." Carter continued on

"Pfft. Can you make me any more bored?" Grim laughed, wrapping himself in y/ns hair

" Now, the degree to which we adhere to the rules depends on the sitting housewarden. Past wardens have been much more lax." Carter ignored Grim and continued

" Riddle though? He doesn't mess around.
Basically, you could say that we're honoring that tradition to the utmost extent possible." Trey added on

" Bleah. Just my luck..." ace whined
