Today is the day I'm finally leaving to see fam. My dad is driving me since I have to take a decent amount of clothes since it's an extended stay, not just a week like an average vacation.
It was going to be a long drive. 20 hours. I've been on long drives before though. Almost 16 to Florida multiple times.
We made it fun though, blasting good music like Johnny Cash, Guns n Roses and the one and only Miranda Lambert. My dad was my best friend. We had some bad times because of the divorce but we always could act like nothing happened since we had the same easygoing personality.
We were now in Arizona but we had another few hours to drive to get to where Cams house was. I felt all giddy to see them again.
