I was alone in my room studying for a test while listening to music when it suddenly stopped and I held my phone buzzing. I looked and saw it was my favorite person who I haven't seen since 5 mouths ago because she moved to Japan for college.
My girlfriend of 2 years, Yeji. I immediately answered her.
"Hey baby how are you" she asked me through the phone.
"I'm fine but I would be more of you were here, I miss you a lot my love" I said
"I miss you too babe but I called you because I wanted to tell you something"she said
"What is it" I asked
"I'm coming back to Korea tomorrow" she said
"Really baby" I asked in excitement
"Yeah baby I already have all my stuff packed look" she said
She switched her camera to only see two suitcases against the wall.
"Omg babe your coming back to me after so long I missed you so very much" I said almost crying
"Yeah do you wanna pick me up" she asked
"Of course I would love too what time" I asked
"Well I have to get on my flight at 5 in the morning and it's a 1 hour flight I would say you could pick me up like around 7" she said
"Okay I'll make sure to set my alarm" I said
"Okay babe let's go to sleep so we could both get up early ok" she said
"Ok babe I love I can't wait to see you" I said
"I love you too baby I can't wait to see you too after all this time" she said
"Bye babe I love you" I said
" Love you too babe bye" she said
I hung up the call and continued to study for another hour before going to bed.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, I turned it off and immediately got out of bed. I stretch before going to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready to see the love of my life. After I showered I put my clothes on and grabbed my car keys before heading to the airport.
While I was driving I got a text from yeji. At the red light I looked at the text she sent me.
My love 😻😘: I just got on the plane I'm heading your way rn
I smiled at the text I was gonna text her back but the light turned green and that's when I continued to drive to the airport. I arrived there around 6:40 so I had to wait a little.
I was waiting in the lounge that felt like hours, when I got a text from yeji again. She said that she just landed that's when I got excited again. I decided to play on my phone as I waited for her. And once again I got a text from her but this on was different from the others.
She said she saw me and that's when I looked around quickly and I saw her. I immediately got up and ran to her and hugged her like it was my last day on earth.
"Hey babe" she muffled into my shoulder
"Your finally back my love" I said
"Yes I am" she said
"Let's go home now where we should be" I said
She grabbed her luggage and we left hand and hand out of the airport, together once again.
