7 years later..

Third person POV:

It has been 7 years since the attack on Noah's pack. He is now 19 years old and is a lone wolf. He quite enjoys the peace and quiet, at first it was to much for him because he was used to the opposite.. Warmth, other wolves around, but he had to get used to that he was alone. He learned how to hunt by himself and has acquired a few scars.

He was currently shifted into his beautiful black furry wolf. With shining gold eyes, locking on his prey from afar. It was a white fluffy bunny with light red fur on the tips of its ears and tail. As he crouched down he heard a twig break on the other side of the field. He looks over and see's another wolf as himself, getting ready to attack the small creature.

"Not on my watch!" Noah thought with a growl and hopped out running at the bunny. The other wolf seemed caught off guard and jumped out after a few minutes to see Noah holding the bunny in his jaws. He didn't bite down at all, not even harming the small animal. His wolf pushes against it for some reason. So he obeyed to his wolf trusting in him that there's a good reason. The bunny seemed to be shaking rapidly but not because it was in-between a wolves jaws. It was because there was another wolf growling at them, trying to show that the bunny was their hunt. Noah growled lowly at them as he placed the bunny down and crouched down, his belly on top of the bunny's back. Carefully making sure to not put to much weight on the small thing.

Noah growled again but louder trying to get the other wolf to back off. After a few minutes of them growling at each other the wolf got bored and left to go find something else to feed their hunger. Noah huffed and stood up slowly, making sure not to startle the bunny under him. He took a step backwards and started to sniff the shaking bunny. He licked the bunny's head to show he was friendly, which in return the small creature made a squeaking sound. Noah tilted his head at this new noise.

Noah's ears perked up at the sound of bones snapping, and within a second the bunny was now a small pale adorable boy sitting there under him looking up at him with his big chocolate brown eyes. He couldn't help but stare in awe at this boy. He as well shifted so now they would be able to speak easier, but he couldn't help but notice his heart was beating rapidly fast. Abnormally fast at that. He felt a stare on him and looked at the once was pale boy to the boy with stained pinked cheeks. He couldn't help but be proud that he was the reason this boy was blushing.

Noah cleared his throat making the flushed boy look up at him while biting his lower lip nervously. "Why is my heart beating so fast around you?" Noah asked. The boy looked stunned and stared at the larger male in front of him. The boy shook his head quickly which made Noah tilt his head again in confusion.

"Y-you mean you have never heard about m-mates?" The boy stuttered out quickly. Noah raised a brow at the smaller male. "I've heard of it but I don't recall what they actually are. Need you to remind me?" Noah asked while smiling softly at him.

"It's uhm...-"

A few hours later...

"So me and you are mates?" Noah asked his final question. The boy shook his head "yes" with a flushed face. Noah grinned and hugged the boy.

"I'm Noah little mate, and you?" Noah happily blurted out. The small male in his arms smiled happily, "I-I'm Robin" Robin said while chewing on his bottom lip. Noah lifts his hand and put his thumb on his lip forcing him to stop chewing on the abused lip, earning a small squeak from the smaller male. Noah hummed at the response he had gotten.
