*a while later*

"Innocence..."

I fluttered my eyes open and almost have a heart attack when I saw a pair of golden eyes looking at me through the lens of his glasses.

"Yeah?" I asked as I stared up at him. He sat back on my bed and looked ahead.

"I need to go before these two days." He said and looked down at the ground. "But I'll come back to get you after the two days."

I nodded but raised my eyebrows. Huh... I wonder where he's headed. He whether behaved as if he hadn't heard it, or didn't want to answer that...

"What do I do then?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Anything. Just don't leave." He said in a warning voice. "Don't go near dark areas and don't talk to strangers. Stay here. On second thought, just stay here."

He suppressed a small chuckle and I just smiled. I looked out the window and saw it was near twilight. Christian and Danielle must have gone to sleep already. Did they know he was leaving? Did they know he had come up here to tell me? Did they know I had to stay? Why did I have to stay? Why couldn't he just take me with him? So many questions... So many unanswered questions...

"Don't overthink... it's bad for you." He whispered and I looked into his glowing orange eyes. He stared at me and gave me a small smile. Oh god, why does he have to be so gorgeous? I feel my heart tug every time I look at him. Especially when the sun's faint glow just shines against his face like that. It makes me feel weird... even if I shouldn't. I shouldn't feel this way. He is just trying to help me. That's all he's doing. We're not friends. We're just... I don't even know but I just know that it's best to keep it like that...

I looked away for a moment and looked out the window. I wonder why he's leaving. He spent the whole day out yesterday, running errands. I wonder if everything's okay...

"I'll be back in two days. Don't know exactly by what time, but I'll be here." He said and I nodded. "Stay safe, Innocence... and eat properly."

I rolled my eyes but nodded anyway. His words make me think he actually cares about me. But I know he doesn't. Or does he? Ah, I barely know him. Why would he care? He probably doesn't even care about himself.

I heard him chuckle and looked at him. He was smiling down at the ground and I raised my eyebrows at him. He shook his head and looked at me.

"I better go now," he said and leaned in. I felt everything stop but then go back to normal when he just pressed a soft kiss on my cheek. I mean, not normal... my heart stammered against my chest wildly. But well... normal. "See you in two days."

I nodded and he leaned back on my bed. I watched him stand up and fix his shirt. He sighed and gave me a small tired smile before waving and leaving. I watched him leave my room and just sat there in my bed, thinking. I looked out the window and saw Shadow outside with Summer. Summer was eating some of the grass on our front yard while Shadow just scratched his hooves against the ground. Soon enough, I saw Angel walk down my front steps and down the path towards the front gate. He patted Summer on the back and walked out the gate. He caressed Shadow's mane before jumping on him. I think he knew I was watching him because he looked up at me and his eyes made direct contact with mine. I didn't had my glasses on, but I could see him clearly. Everything else was out of focus except him. It's weird but it's just like that.

He waved at me once he took Shadow's rope on his hands and I waved back. Then, he kicked on Shadow's sides and began galloping forward down the street. I watched until I could no longer see him for the position of my house and room. Still, hearing Shadow's hooves hit the pavement was a signal that he was getting further away. I felt something in me leave with him and just leaned back against the back of my bed. I don't understand anything...
