We stopped in front of a restaurant. It didn't seem fancy so I felt relieved since I was just wearing a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. I guess Angel likes sticking to casual for me... I don't mind it since it's clothes. But I wouldn't mind wearing something less... casual...

He didn't comment anything and got out of the car. I did the same and we walked into the restaurant. Since this wasn't a fancy restaurant, all we did was walk up to the line of people and look at the menu.

There was a variety of meals in it. From extra large steaks for hungry wolves, to blood filled hearts for thirsty vampires, to even bags of lost souls for demons... Kind of a creepy menu, but it was alright for us 'creepy' creatures.

"What are you going to get?" Angel asked me and I shrugged. "I'm getting two steaks, baby ribs, and a heart.."

I bit my lip and looked at the menu. I wasn't really that hungry, but I could use an large burger with double meat, bacon, and blood... A cup of cold blood would be good, too..

We were next in line. Angel ordered and looked at me. I told him what I wanted and the cashier jotted it down. Angel paid and we stood to the side waiting for our meal.

"You can go pick a table, if you want." He said after a while. "I'll take the food over."

I nodded and walked over to a table near the window. I sat down and looked outside. It was already 6:00pm. The street still had some traffic and people walked back and forth. The restaurant was pretty packed but it was alright. It was kinda dark and had orange dim lights over each table. It looked like a bar or something. It was nice. I think the vampires liked coming here since it was so dark and the lights were so dim. The people in here were chatting to each other, on their phones, drinking coffee, eating, on their laptops; well, the normal things that happen in a restaurant. It was nice.

I looked back outside and watched as the light turned red. People began crossing the street. Some walked to the left, others to the right, a few to some nearby stores, and a few others walked into the restaurant. I watched them all until the light turned green. They stopped and I watched them wait. There was a specific person that caught my eye more...

He was tall and built. Pale white and had black short hair all messed up. His eyebrows were arched and he seemed to be quite handsome. He was wearing a pair of light washed jeans, a black t-shirt, a black leather jacket and black boots. He walked with his hands on his pockets towards the people that were standing waiting for the light to turn red. Instead of waiting like them, he didn't think twice before running through the cars towards the other side. I gasped as some of the cars stopped right at the nick of time.. Is he crazy?! He could've killed himself!

I didn't follow him anymore because when I was about to see where he was heading to, Angel came with our food and caught my attention. That was so odd... I looked back at the window but didn't see him anymore.. Damn..

"This is for you.." Angel said while setting a tray in front of me. "And this is mine." He sat down and took a knife and fork to begin with his steak. I looked down at my food and smiled.

I unwrapped the burger and brought it to my mouth. So delicious.. the mix of blood and meat and all the vegetables... it's mouthwatering..

Neither Angel or me spoke. We were too focused on our food to do so. I kept thinking of the guy in the street and how he had done that crazy movement. He must've been on a hurry to do that. Tho, he didn't seem to be affected by anything. He was too focused on getting to the other side to care...

I looked at Angel and he was just munching on his food normally. You know, expressionless. He didn't even glance at me and so I looked away. When I raised my sight to look at the people around, I felt my heart catch on my throat. I choked on a piece of burger and looked down at the cup of blood on the table. I took it and chugged on it. The piece of burger went down with the blood and I breathed. When I looked up, he was no where to be seen. Okay? Why did I choke by seeing him? [...]
