"How is she?"

He smiled and shrugged. His eyes twinkle at the memory. He was happy.

"As beautiful as ever.." He said dreamily. A bright look was on his face. "I kissed her hand before I left. I could feel the shivers that ran through her body. She felt the same way as I did.. It was so amazing.."

The person with him chuckled and shook his head.

"You are so lovestruck." He spoke and smiled at him. "It's normal. I felt the same way when I met her mother.. Things might not be the same as they were before, but that woman still makes my heart race..."

They both nodded thoughtfully.

"I can't wait to feel her in my arms... The thought of her with him makes my blood boil... Do you think he'll hurt her?" He asked and clenched his jaw.

"For what I've seen and heard, I don't think he would. Or well, not physically, at least..." The man said. He narrowed his eyes at him but the man just shrugged. "She'll get over it. She's not meant to be with him anyway."

He looked at him unsure but nodded anyway. If he hurt her, no matter if physical or emotionally, he would make him feel her pain in both ways. He didn't want anyone hurting his girl. Especially some prick that has done so much already. He didn't understand why he was helping her, tho. Maybe he wants something back... But, what could he possibly want? Wasn't it enough to start up that war fifteen years ago? Can't he get enough?

"You have to wait and be patient, Ken. We can't start coming to conclusions when nothing's really happened yet." The man spoke and patted him in the back. "She'll be fine... I promise."

He began walking away towards the door. Ken looked down at the ground and bit his lip.

"How can you be so sure?" He asked the man and raised his sight towards him; he was almost near the door.

The man chuckled and shook his head. Ken didn't understand how this amused him; she could be in danger...

"Because she's my daughter." He said and looked at him. "She has my blood, and all that have my blood have been strong warriors. Led by the strongest of females; my mother. She'll turn out to be just like her. That's why I'm 'so sure'. So don't worry. She'll make it through."

With that, he walked out of the room, leaving Ken staring at the spot where he once stood..

"I hope you're right..." Ken whispered and followed after him.
