Idk why I am saying this but y'all do know that Jinyoung played the teen version of Lee Minho's (the actor) character in the legend of the blue sea right? I mean this is so random but ok, lol.

"Long time no see, old friend."

Chan bore his fangs, eyes dark and deadly. Hyunjin could feel his mate getting aggravated by the second through their now solidified bond.

But Jungkook didn't seem to get fazed by it. Instead he said with a short laugh, "I was expecting a little friendlier greeting Chan-ah."

Before Chan could respond King Minlee interjected.

"Hyunjin, Jungkook let me introduce you both to each other properly since you haven't met before. This is the newly crowned King of the Jeon Empire. And Jungkook this is my son, Prince Hyunjin, the one who we were talking about."

Everyone was now standing to bow and greet the guest.

"I hope you both can get along well." Queen Junhyun added gesturing at Hyunjin and the Jeon King.

Hyunjin could tell that Chan was about to lash out at any point now and the said ravenette was pushed over the edge by Jungkook's next action.

He walked over to Hyunjin's seat taking his way too cold hand in his, seemingly about to kiss the back of it when-

"Get away from him!" The Moon crown prince had dashed off close to Hyunjin, standing in a protective stance in front of him after harshly pushing Jungkook away.

Multiple gasps erupted in the room.

The Jeon King stumbled back but regained his balance before he could fall.

"Hey! This was uncalled for." Jungkook said pointing a finger at Chan, whose shoulders heaved deeply as he sharply took in his breaths.

"If you try to get any closer to my mate, you will get much worse." Chan said, pointing his finger back in a threatening manner towards Jungkook. His other fisted up hand was itching to punch the man who tried to touch his Hyunjin.

Red was gradually spreading from his pupil through the iris of his eyes but Hyunjin's soft touch and sweet voice calmed him down instantly.

"Christopher...it's okay. I'm here. With you."
The younger said.

"Seriously man. I was just trying to be nice to my soon to be brother in law. Hyunjin, you have got quite the tempered mate there." Jungkook scowled, his bunny teeth making an appearance, giving him a much softer look than before.

"Huh? But you...but they said...huh?" Chan was truely baffled, but soon his mouth fell open in astonishment as he realised what was actually going on.

He had been trapped in his own game.

He turned to the others present in the hall, expression giving away his disbelief.

They all were smiling from ear to ear in some sort of victory.

"You're not the only one who can play tricks Chan-ah." King Jinyoung teased.

"Eomma...how could you all..."

Hyunjin was still a bit confused about the entire situation. He didn't understand the sudden shift in mood among everyone else.

"I am so sorry honey, but your little prank got backfired." Junhyun remarked.

"Come on son. Do you seriously think we would fall for it? That we wouldn't be able to recognise the happiness clearly visible in your and Hyunjin-ah's eyes." Minlee heartily chuckled.
