The Moon and Baek princes gathered in the dining hall for dinner. They all ate silently, everyone noticing the obvious tension between Chan and Hyunjin who kept stealing glances at each other and started blushing when they were caught by the other. This was an entertaining sight to each of their brothers who were laughing internally.

They exchanged a knowing look amongst themselves and finished their food quickly to leave earlier, each making some stupid excuse leaving Chan and Hyunjin alone in the dining hall. They burst into hushed giggles as soon as they went out of the door and then eventually went to their respective rooms, hoping that the soulmates finally can confess to one another.

Chan and Hyunjin finally finished eating the very little that they had taken on their plates, the anticipation making it hard for them to focus on their food.

The servants took away their plates and the princes thanked them.

Now is the time to talk to him Chan!

Chan thought to himself.

Awkward silence filled the hall as none spoke. Hyunjin finally got up from his seat and said.

"I will go back to my room then." He bowed.

Goddess Hyunjin you are supposed to tell him about your feelings!

Hyunjin facepalmed internally but he didn't know how to start the conversation.

When Chan didn't respond he reluctantly turned to leave but the older stopped him.

"Umm do you want to go to my room?" Hyunjin looked back at him with wide eyes as Chan stood up as well.

"Oh no no no! I mean umm there is a huge veranda on the same floor as my room. And this place is usually cold but eomma still keeps many flowers, mostly winter plants there and he turned it into a mini garden. I thought you might like to see them."

Great Chan, very smooth.

Chan cringed in his mind.

He suddenly got nervous when Hyunjin was taking time to answer and said, "It's okay if you don't want to. You probably want to sleep now. I was just-"

"No I do want to. I mean I would love to see the flowers. Let's go visit the veranda." Hyunjin said with an awkward smile, the pink hue on his face was similar to that on Chan's.

Chan nodded happily and guided Hyunjin upstairs towards the veranda.

He opened the door for Hyunjin like a gentleman and let him walk in first.

Hyunjin was mesmerised at the view. The snow cover plants looked so pretty with soft variedly coloured flowers. The golden rays of the full moon made the garden look even more dazzling.

"It's beautiful." He said in awe.

"Very beautiful." Hyunjin looked to his side, hearing Chan's voice to see the older actually staring at him instead of the garden when he said that.

Warmth crept his face as he shifted his gaze shyly.

Hyunjin walked near the bunch of rose plants. The black ones caught his attention.

"I have never seen black roses in real life till now." He said as Chan stood near him again.

Chan was about to pick one rose for Hyunjin but his fingers slightly grazed against Hyunjin's who had reached out to that flower at the same time.
