***Saira's POV.***

"What do you think you were doing?" I ask as I snatch my diary from his clutches.

"I was just removing the dust from it." He says.

"Stop lying. I am a doctor. Even my bookmarks are clean." I say.

"You are angry about that." He says.

"No. Why would you read my diary? And what did you read?" I ask.

"Nothing." He says and I raise my brows, "Okay, everything."

"How?" I ask as I know I wasn't gone for long.

"I have a gift. I read quickly and half of it is your fault. You write with precision and come straight to the point." He says, "Who has a diary like that? Handsome, smart and decisive. Good to go for marriage. Dresses, jewelry, shoes. Good to go for ceremonies."

"Oh, god." I groan, "Stop talking."

I take a few deep breaths then turn to him again when I have gained my calm composure, "Why would you ready my thoughts, Parth? That's not a good thing. Tell me, why would you do that?" I ask, as I know Parth is not that type of person. When he says nothing, I ask, "Why are you not talking?"

"Because you told me not to." He says.

"Ahh! Parth, please, today was such a good day. And you had to spoil it by reading my diary. Why?" I ask.

"I have a condition just like you have with your laugh." He says.

"What condition?" I ask with hands on hips.

"Extreme Curiosity." He says, like it is some kind of disease.

"Then you should be thankful you are not a cat." I say.

He pauses for a second, then says, "I got it. You do have a sense of humor, Saira."

"That is not the topic here, Parth." I say.

"Look, I am sorry. And I was joking. I read little except for some parts. And I promise to never even look at it." He says.

"You are serious." I ask.

"As serious as I can be." He says and I sigh, "Which isn't much."

I groaned again, "You know what? Forget what you read. Do it. Now."

"How?" He asks.

"I don't know. Just do it." I say.

"You mean, never talk about it." He asks.

"Yes." I say.

"Okay, done." He says and I nod.

"Thank you." I say.

"Sorry once again." He says.

"You didn't forget it." I say.

"What?" He asks with a frown.

"You said sorry, which means you didn't forget it." I say.

"Okay. Fine. Let's just go to bed and forget this." He says and I look at him incredulously, "To sleep." He clarifies.

"Okay." I say and turn around, only to hide my smile.

"Saira!" He exclaims and I turn a serious face and turn back to him.

"What?" I ask.

"You just smiled. Were you teasing me?" He asks.

"No. You must be hallucinating. Oh my god, don't tell me I put so much pressure on your brain that now it is making up things." I say with a gasp.
