Christmas Day, 1980

Celeste's face and stomach hurt from smiling and laughing so much. It has been so long since she had been so happy, so joyful. Her family all sat in their living room, sharing stories, and laughing. This is what Christmas is supposed to feel like, be like.

"Regulus Black!" Cassandra gasped and hit Regulus' shoulder, the boy too busy laughing to care. "How could you tell them that!"

Accalia slapped her mum's arm and snuggled into her dad closer, "No hi, dada."

Everyone busted out laughing again while Cassandra was glaring at Regulus, "And you turned my child against me!"

"I did not turn our child against you!"

"Who said she's your kid?"

"I told you, Reggie-Boy!" Matthew sang sung, a grin on his face.

"Shut up, Matthew," Regulus and Cassandra both said.

"Ouch."

Sirius stood up from where he was sitting on the ground and took Accalia from Regulus, "C'mere, child. Just so you don't have to watch mama kill dada."

"Mama. Dada." Accalia clapped her hands.

"Sirius, stop being an idiot." Cassandra rolled her eyes. "I wouldn't ruin dear Celeste's couch with his blood."

"Thank you, Cassandra," Celeste laughed, looking away from where Estelle and Dora were playing with their toys. "Wait. We're missing a kid."

"My love, Sirius is right there," Aaron said from right next to her. Sirius glared at him,

"Oh ha ha," Sirius replied dryly letting Accalia play—pull—with his hair. "And to think I liked you."
