Chapter 6

Y/ns pov

It just hit 12:50. I should know, the lights in the daycare went out and I was pushed away slightly. Understandable, since I partially heard the switch and reboot from the animatronic.

The feeling.. that feeling of being alone and abandoned is stuck to me. They know what it's like. I cant fucking ignore it.

Finally, moon had appeared. He took a second to adjust to the area before our eyes met. I didn't notice this before, but .. his eyes were admirable in a way. We stood there in silence before I broke it. I didn't know what to do or say, so in that moment .. I introduced myself. "Hi moon, my name is Y/N L/N and I'm the nightguard. The new one. I'm sorry our introduction wasn't the best one, but I hope we can be friends. Like how me and sun started out." I smiled at him, and held my hand out. At first he seemed stunned from my sudden interaction with him. He then chuckled, wow. His chuckling.. is hot. I ain't even gonna lie.

He grabbed my hand, and shook it. His hands were oddly warm while his wrist and up was cold. Sun typically was the warm guy, I should know. He hugged me. I never really interacted with moon much, so I guess he's the cold type? Based on his personality and introduction we had.

"I already know your name. And I- god.." moon raised his hand on his forehead. He seemed tensed," Moon? Are you alright?" I asked this, but was hesitating at first since I didn't know what the type of person he was. "Suns just being a fucking idiot." Woah!- I didn't know he can swear? "Wait what? Is he talking to you? How does that work?" Wow.. these guys were really interesting!! Ok, I have to know more about them!! They're just so cool! "Mm? Well.. we can talk to each other in our.. I guess minds. But right now Sun is fucking yelling way too much. Jeez, he's scared I'm gonna break you. I've handled kids before."

I couldn't help but laugh. He had such an alluring voice, but he was a daycare attendant? God. I cant believe how hot- fuck. No, y/n, we are not turning into a wattpad fanfic. Just calm down. "Oh really? Hmm.. moon? Can I ask you something?" "Sure.." "what do you like to do?" I was curious on the person he was. Frankly, I hope this one isn't too hard on him. He seemed skeptical at first but began to silently list the things he liked. Apparently he liked naptimes, reading stories (for himself or kids), writing ?, and he liked to enjoy a bit of arts and crafts himself. So I guess, in a way, he's like Sun but much more .. demanding. "I like doing that stuff too! Though to be honest I haven't been sleeping well.." I couldn't help but get nervous. I don't know why, but this daycare is messing with my emotions.

"Why is that?" Moon stepped closer to me and leaned down to meet my eyes.. his eyes were.. beautiful. I know, he's an animatronic. Why should I care? But they were. And I cant help but stare. "I've just.. I've always struggled with sleep ever since I was a teen. And even if I do sleep, I either dream of nothing or a stupid nightmare. It's not always fun so I just rest my eyes or avoid sleep." Moon let out a small tsk. "May I, please?" Moon asked. I didn't know what he was referring too, so I just said yes to see what he meant. He then picked me up! Like I was a hand of candy! He silently lifted me up in the air, but I didn't know how to tell him I was kinda scared of the height..

"Moon? What are you doing?" "Me and Sun were programmed to take care of kids in specific ways. He entertained, kept kids happy, and made sure no one felt left out. However, when I was programmed.. I was to be able to make sure kids fell asleep. I know how to take care of kids like Sunny, and I know how to make sure they don't feel alone.. ironic. But, if anything I know most on how to make sure someone gets a good nights rest." Moon wasn't kidding. He took me to His and suns room! Oh gosh! I'm really in! Wow.. it's a bit messy but I'd say this is home. Kinda. God, I need to ask Sun if he'd let me redecorate his room.

"As for you, I will be the one to put you to sleep.. you're the lucky one. You get to sleep with me." Moon made his way to.. I guess bed, and sat on it. I have to admit, moon is kinda comfy. "I'm not a kid, Moon." I stated, but it didn't stop him from continuing. "Sure you aren't. But, to me.. you are just as small as the children." ... he did it. He began to soothe me to sleep. He rocked me in his arms, and a lullaby was heard. I cant help but feel .. not sleepy. That was, until, he opened my mouth. I have no idea what the fuck he just put in my mouth, but it definitely wasn't a joke. I think it was those moondrops Sunny mentioned.. I can taste the sleepiness.

There, that's when I did started to sleep. It was really dark in the room. I thought i was staying up all night but.. this was nice too. I feel safe. I feel loved. I don't wanna leave... and he's so sweet to me.

I wonder, if I didn't ran away from him.. would he have been the same as he was now? Or was he .. joking..

I'm tired.

I'm falling asleep.. . .
