Chapter ten🫶🏼

Romeo closed the door and got into the front. "Fucking smart ass." I glared at him for his language and he rolled his eyes.

As we were driving I kept glancing at Alessandro's drunk figure in the backseat. Romeo turned his body to the window and sighed. "I don't want him to end up like dad." I nodded in agreement even though he couldn't see me.

Once we pulled into the driveway I parked the car and turned in my seat. "Bro, wake up." I shook Alessandro and he groaned while slapping my hand away.

It took everything in me not to just pull out my knife and cut his drunk ass. "Alessandro wake the fuck up!" He groaned but still continued to sleep.

I looked over at Romeo and for the first time ever I saw a hint of mischief in his eyes. Romeo turned to face the back and gestured for me to cover my ear, I coved my ears and faced the front while Romeo screamed.

"OH SHIT! ALESSANDRO WAKE UP! IT'S EVEY!" His words even had me looking around like a dumb ass, Alessandro shot up and grabbed his gun from his waistband. He looked around and glared at Romeo who had a small smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car, I turned and saw that Alessandro was walking while leaning on Romeo. "Luca wanted you to be in the room with me and Evelyn but with your state. Not gonna happen." I walked into the house and started to walk up the stairs.

I turned to see Alessandro walking behind me. He gave me a weak smile and I shook my head, he was drunk and I'm not going to have him scare Evelyn.

I pointed to his room and he shook his head like a child. "Come on, please. I swear I will just stay quiet." I thought for a second before sighing.

Once I made it to her room I walked in with Alessandro walking in behind me with his head down. Luca was sitting in her chair as she played with her fingers. The air seemed awkward but I pushed it aside.

She looked up and gave me a small smile while turning her gaze to Alessandro who had his head down. She gave him a small smile as well and then looked back down at her hands.

I walked over to her as she began to speak to Alessandro. "You missed the high-speed chase that happened on the stairs." He looked up at her with confusion lacing his face and she chuckled.

She is still so adorable...

He looked over at Luca in confusion but Luca just shook his head. She cleared her throat making me look over to see her gesturing me to come closer.

I leaned my head in and she whispered in my ear. "Do you think I could go to school? I don't wanna ask Luca because he has work." I pulled back and smiled softly at her while nodding.

"As long as you let me take care of you," I said playfully glaring at her. "As long as you promise you are a doctor." I looked at her in amusement at her little sassy remark.

I nodded while grabbing my tools, I noticed that she looked a little nervous so I turned to Luca and nodded to the door. He got the hint and dragged Alessandro out with him.

Her shoulders dropped and I gestured to her shirt. She took a deep breath and slowly lifted her shirt up to her bra. I placed my hand on her shoulder and slowly made her lie down.

I took my wraps and numbing medicine out and looked up at her. She closed her eyes and whispered softly. "Please don't tell anyone about this...it's bad enough you and Luca know." I nodded my head and grabbed her hand lightly squeezing it.
