"Alex" I whined impatiently down the phone "I am not here just to fuel your gay candle obsession" as I pushed my shopping cart down another isle

"I know, you're here for sex also" he said slyly

"You're such a dick" I said, rolling my eyes

"You love it" he said, I could practically hear his smirk

"I do, now tell me again what the fuck I'm looking for" I sighed, looking at a huge shelf of scented candles

"I can't remember the name" he said

"Well that's fucking helpful" I muttered

"Don't sass me" he giggled adorably, I pressed the phone between my shoulder and cheek as I looked over the shelves, almost dropping it in the process "All I know is that they bring in Christmas candles and I used to get one every year and it smells like happiness"

"You're so gay and you don't even like boys" I sang down the phone and heard him huff

"It's not my fault you wouldn't pry yourself away from the Ravens game" I smiled "and you needed this god damn candle, the things I do for you" I almost dropped my phone as I crouched down"Look, I'll call you back" I sighed

"Okay babe" he said, I cringed at the word babe but didn't protest, which makes a change "I love you"

I didn't even think before replying "love you too, Alex" and hung up.

"It's the Christmas Snowfall" a voice behind me said, I turned round and was a little shocked by who I saw.

"L-Lisa" I stumbled, she smiled at me.

"Hey Cam" Lisa was Alex's girlfriend before Kayla and I had to admit I'd always liked her. She was possibly one of the sweetest girls on the planet and her and Alex were together for years. She was the only girl I actually didn't mind Alex being with cause she made him so happy. They'd broken up a couple years ago after Lisa got a new job that kept her really busy and with Alex touring so much they'd just drifted apart.

"Are you looking for Alex's candle?" she asked, I nodded, unsure what to say to her. Did she know I was dating her ex? "It's Christmas Snowfall, that boy, always was to lazy to ever remember the name"

"Thanks" I managed, finding it on the shelf and putting it into the kart

"So how have you been?" she smiled "I haven't spoken to you in so long"

"I've been really good" I smiled, that was the truth. She was probably concerned about me. Lisa had been around during the time I was really bad, she'd went out to buy me tampons while I was in the hospital. Like I said, we used to be pretty close "What about you?"

"I've been great, works been really good" she nodded "Jack told me about you and Alex" she added abruptly

"Oh" I managed

"I'm really happy for you guys, he needs someone like you"

"really?" I smiled, she nodded

"Especially after that bitch Kayla" she said, then slapped her hand over her mouth. I giggled at that "That was mean"

"It's okay, she's horrible" I shrugged, Lisa laughed an nodded

"You know she kicked me in the ankle when I walked up to say hi to Alex at his last Halloween party?" she chuckled

"Seriously?" I laughed and she nodded, still giggling.

"I'll see you around?" she asked "I've really kinda missed talking to you"
