Part 24

Lexy immediantly felt her world coming down.

Lexy:"W-wait, it's not what it seems"

Niki gritted his teeths.

Niki:"Put him down, NOW!"

Lexy was panicking, she didn't know how to make them believe her.

Lexy:"I need to take him to the hospital!"

Niki angrily glared at Lexy with hatred.

Niki:"What the fuck did you do to him?!"

Lexy broke down, she fell to her knees and carefully places Jungwon down onto the floor.

The sight of Jungwon all bruised up horrified Niki and the police's. Niki immediantly dashed towards Jungwon small, weak body.

Niki:"LEXY?! What did you do to him?!"

She choked out into sobs while holding her face with her hands.

Lexy:"A-arrest me, I deserve to be arrested anyways..."

Niki looked up in confusion.

Niki:"You give in that easily?"

Lexy hang her head low while choking back her tears.

Lexy:"I-I admit it's my fault...Niki, take him to the hospital for me"

Lexy unstably got to her feet and walked towards the large police with the handcuffs in his hands.

As she was getting handcuffed, Niki wasted no time embracing Jungwon into his arms and rushed him to the hospital. The police's tried to stop him, since they offered to take him, but Niki was impatient and refused.

-20 minutes later-

Jungwon had already been rushed into the hospital, getting intense care and treatment.

Niki on the other hand, was told to wait in the waiting room. His heart was racing as he bit his nails out of habit.

Gosh, I never thought that Lexy and Jungwon would meet

"Nishimura Riki?"

Niki immediantly snapped out of his thoughts and looked up to see a tall brunette male with a clipboard in his hands.

Niki:"Uh yes, that's me"

The taller male smiled and asked Niki to follow him.

Niki of course obeyed while getting nervous, not knowing what Jungwon reaction would be once he sees him.

The brunette leads him into a room, where Niki assumed Jungwon was in getting treated for.

Niki:"Is he in here?"

The male nodded while politely holding the door open for Niki.

Niki hesitantly entered. To his surprise, Jungwon was already awake.

Jungwon slowly turns his head towards Niki, only making the younger feel smaller through his gaze.

Jungwon:"Are you just going to stand there?"

Niki sheepishly laughed and entered with a flustered face.

Jungwon looked around, but no sign of Lexy was to be seen.

Jungwon:"Where's Lexy?"

Niki furrowed his eyebrows, feeling a bit taken aback.

Niki:"She's the one who hurted you, why would you want to see her?"

Jungwon angrily glared at Niki.

Jungwon:"Shut up! Tell me where she is?"

Niki only got angrier.

Niki:"I came here to visit you, and you're asking for someone who literally put you in hospital!"

Jungwon wasn't able to hold it back.

Jungwon:"TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK SHE IS?!"

Niki went silent. He was shocked to see Jungwon in this state. It wasn't the Jungwon he knew.

Niki:"Why are you shouting?"

Jungwon:"Don't make me more mad Riki"

Niki:"Its Niki"

Jungwon gritted his teeths.

Jungwon:"Tell. Me. Now"

Niki:"Fine! If you care about her so much, guess What, she's my ex!"

Jungwon rolled his eyes.

Jungwon:"I didn't ask,I already knew that!"

Niki widened his eyes.

Niki:"How?"

Jungwon scoffed in annoyance.

Jungwon:"Cause I do, fucking tell me"

Niki hated this new side of Jungwon.

Niki:"Stop dropping the f bomb at me!"

Jungwon:"No! Unless you tell me where she is?!"

Niki:"Fine! SHE'S IN THE DAMN PRISON"

Jungwon eyes teared up.

Jungwon:"N-no, No! I HAVE TO SEE HER"

He tried getting up from the bed, but Niki called the nurses so Jungwon could recover instead of causing more harm to himself.

All the nurses surrounded Jungwon and some held firmly onto him.

Jungwon:"NO! LET ME GO! I NEED TO SEE HER!"

Niki was lost in thoughts.

Why does Jungwon care about her so much?

Suddenly,the police's barged in.

Police 1:"We need to interview this young man"

Jungwon furiously looked at all the 4 police's.

Jungwon:"Release her Now!"

Police 2:"Didnt she harm you?"

Jungwon knew that he had no choice but to lie, after all, they would believe him anyways.

Jungwon:"No! She's the one who saved me!"

Niki widened his eyes.

Why is he lying?

He knew Lexy had hurt him, because he saw the case in the room earlier, and he remembers that she had that case during their relationship, but he never knew what was inside until today.

The police's were having a private talk whilst the nurses were sent to leave.

Niki came over to Jungwon, and whispers to him.

Niki:"Why are you saving her?"

Jungwon glared at him.

Jungwon:"Although we just met, I know her way more than you ever will"

Niki shamelessly laughs.

Niki:"So What? Best friends now huh?"

Jungwon:"Jealous, too bad"

Niki felt a pang in his heart. He felt hurt by Jungwons action. Although he was the one who had hurted him first, something just felt different.

Why is he treating me like shit?

I deserve it anyways...
