10. Hide Your Emotions

Learn to hide
To avoid the fight
And for your pride
That's a thing I have mastered
It took years my friend, it didn't happen overnight
I was forced to hide my emotions at first
As a battle was going on in my head
I felt like punching someone in the face, but I controlled the outburst
And that too with no one dead
Except the inner me, but that's fine
It's normal to be depressed for years, right?
It's okay if I give up my shine
To make others glow more bright
It comes in handy for me sometimes
To be able to laugh, when you wanna scream
Cause I only show true me in my dream
After all, hiding emotions isn't one of the crimes
Just learn to hide
As that's thing you would have to master
Or get ready to face the disaster
You all would understand when you go through all this yourselves
Before that you would think it as a piece of cake, which is actually true
But the cake is made up of metal bookshelves
And, is consequently hard to chew
So, take some emotions hiding classes in advance
Or you would regret later
I won't even charge for these
I just want to make your sufferings better
So, don't worry my dear captain mam or sir
I am on board with you
I won't leave you until the very end
No matter if a thousand things occur

In this poem, the main focus was on people who hide their true selves and true emotions. Those people hide themselves or their dreams and let it die inside without anyone knowing.I just wanted to appreciate them. Okay, now, you don't need to hide anything but sometimes the circumstances are different and expressing yourself isn't the best thing to do. For those times, I want to appreciate you guys. You really are doing a great job. You are not alone, I am here with you, to help and appreciate you as I know how that feels and trust me, a companion can make the sufferings a lot better.
