I watched as i saw bellamy enter the gate with blood covered all over him.
"my god, look at them." my mother was stunned. anger filled me as stared down bellamy. i walked closer to bellamy, seeing if he was okay. he noticed my eyes lingering my body and he came towards me. he tried to pull me in for a kiss but i pulled away fast.
"don't kiss me." i said coldly. his face stiffened as he looked down at the ground.
"everyone listen!" bellamy's head shot up when he heard pikes voice.
"twenty-four hours ago, you elected me your chancellor. every action i've taken since, and every action i will take, will be to achieve one sacred goal. the creation of a self-sustaining, prosperous and safe arkadia." pike stood above everyone.
"bullshit." i mumbled. bellamy looked at me with a straight face as i rolled my eyes at him.
"this morning, on a muddy field, our people paid tribute to those who have been taken from us by sending a message to the grounders. this land is ours now!" pike yelled as everyone cheered for him.
"resist and you will be met by force. fight and you will be greeted by death. today is a new beginning! mark if down, remember it just like the grounders will remember it." i clenched my jaw as everyone continued to cheer for him again.
pike jumped down the car and started walking ahead. of course his first follower was bellamy. he quickly looked back at me showing no remorse in his face, what so ever.

i paced around my room while looking at atom. "i just really can't believe he did that." i said furrowing my brows.
"hey, come here." atom motioned me to come sit beside him on the bed.
"i just don't know who he is anymore." i shook my head.
"athena, he's always been like this. when we first landed on the ground he was like this."
"no, he's never killed innocent people." i breathed out, overwhelmed by all my emotions.
"what about mount weather?" atom looked at me.
"that was different." my voice cracked.
"was it though?" he asked me as i was brought deep into thought.
"i don't know, atom. something's different about him. he's not acting to same." i looked down at the ground.
"we'll figure it out." he hugged me. "look, i've gotta get to my post. but if you need anything you tell me, okay?" he got up and grabbed his things.
