Aarav doesn't get details of Manyata as that day, the table was booked under the names of Neeraj and Nidhi. So he makes his private investigator get details of Manyata.
He is working for a tender which would get lot of profits for his company, on the other hand, Uday was also working hard for the same tender.
Aarav somehow, wants to defeat Uday this time so that he could satisfy his ego. This competition and ego between them when Uday and Aarav have studied together in Oxford, for their MBA. They always competed in every aspect – studies, basketball games and even girlfriends.
Uday was always first in every aspect when compared to Aarav, which hurt his ego and since then, he wanted to beat Uday but always in vain. Aarav and Uday have had an instant hate towards each other since the day one of their meet, as if they were destined enemies of each other.
Aarav was in his study room when his sister, Jahnavi Saluja enters with a tray of coffee and snacks, as he was working since long time.
Aarav: Jaanu Di, aap kab aaye? (surprised)
Jahnavi: Bas thodi der pehle hi. Tum kaise ho, Aarav? Tumhara kaam kaise chal raha hai? (settling on couch after placing the tray on teapoy)
Aarav: Hum bilkul theek hai. Humara kaam bhi theek chal raha hai. Tum aur Jija Ji kaise hai? Wahan sab theek hai na?
Jahnavi: Hmm, sab theek hai. Anusha ki shaadi bahut jald hone wali hai. Mom aur Dad ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi. Iss liye iss weekend tak yahan rukh rahi hoon.
Aarav: Jija Ji bhi aaye hue hai? (Jahnavi nods no)
Jahnavi: Aarav, mom keh rahi thi ki tumne unhe apne liye ladkiyan dekhne se mana kar diya hai. Kya tum shaadi nahi karna chahte ho?
Aarav: Aisi koi baat nahi hai, di. Hum abhi apne career pe focus karna chahte hai aur kuch nahi. Waise bhi hum sirf 26 saal ke hai. Itni bhi kya jaldi hai?
Jahnavi: Fine. As you say, Aarav. (keeping a hand on his shoulders) Lekin agar koi bhi baat ho toh tum mujhse baat kar sakthe ho, yeh tum bhi jaante ho na.
Aarav: (smiling at her) Of course, di.

Amala and Gauri go to study room where Amarnath and Shantanu are discussing something related to their handloom business work. Abhishek, Meghana, Neha and Avinash went to their work while kids were in school.
Amala: Shantanu, hum dono aap dono se kuch baat karna chahte hai. Thodi der ke liye kaam ko side pe rakh dijiye.
Amarnath: Kya hua? Amala, Gauri beta? Sab theek hai?
Gauri: Ji papa ji, sab theek hai. In fact yeh baat khushi ki hai.
