"I see you still have your attitude intact," Klaus muttered as he walked up to the front door and pulled it wide open.

"You just had to ruin my fun didn't you," I groaned at him.

"So glad I'm the subject of your amusement," Kol replied with a smirk.

"Invite him in please Stefan," Klaus asked.

"Why me?" Stef complained.

"Because Damon and Kol aren't exactly besties are they," he had a good point, I'd only been here for the last ten minutes but I already had that vibe coming through.

"Kol, you can come in," Stefan sighed as Kol stepped through the front door with the biggest smile covering all over his face. I scowled at him as he walked in staring intently at me.

"I never asked you to do me, just let me in; but I can't blame you, I am irresistible," Kol raised his eyebrows suggestively.

"Now what's all this commotion about?" Klaus asked walking back in and standing next to me, breaking up mine and Kol's 'conversation'. Everyone including me looked towards Damon waiting for the reason why.

"It seems we have a problem, me and the sheriff had a little chat about the latest and it seems we have another ripper figure in town," He revealed.

I instantly felt a few pairs of eyes train onto me; I looked round to see Klaus, Kol, Elijah, Stefan and Bonnie look judgingly at me. I stared back at all of them in pure shock.

"Really? Me? Great to know what supportive friends I have!" I sarcastically said to all of them.

"You can't really blame us; some of us know your past better than others..." Stefan trailed off.

"Sheriff Forbes said that these bodies were discovered this morning at about nine," Damon cleared up pouring himself a drink.

"Harley, how long have you been in town for?"

"You are kidding me right? I've been in town for about an hour, I came here like twenty minutes ago and the bodies were found eight hours ago. There was no way that was me!" I defended myself.

"Okay then, we need to find out who's this new killer, a new vampire maybe?"

"One of the psycho hybrids running around?" I offered my suggestion sending a glare in Klaus' direction.

"Now let's not play the blame game around here love, you may be a close friend but my hybrids won't be so nice," Klaus warned.

"And here I thought our bromance was going strong, what happened to us man?" I acted fake hurt.

"Well we needed to be careful anyway, but this gives us more of a reason to. In the meantime, we need to keep an eye out for anyone out of place in town,"

"I can spot one right now," I muttered, cocking my head to my right to glare at Kol.

"I was here before you were great grandparents were, don't get too hasty passing judgement here," he fired back.

"I never said anything of the sort; I just made a well educated guess,"

"Your guess is a little off; you may want to go barking up another tree," he smiled.

"Alright, loving the catty bitch fight here but I have to be somewhere other than here, toodles," Damon shrugged on his black leather jacket and walked out the door.

"Yeah, I have to go check on the party details, which you are invited to by the way," Caroline chirped and told me as she walked out.

"We have to go as well, Alaric needs helps with something," Elena motioned with her, Bonnie and Jeremy heading out the door.

"Say hey to Alaric for me!" I called out as they walked out the door.

Then it was just left with me, Klaus, Elijah, Stefan and unfortunately Kol. I don't know why he is the way he is but it gets on my nerves so bad I want to smack that smirk right off of his pretty little face.

"Well isn't this cosy," I said as I sauntered over to get a big drink from the side table.

"You mind?" Kol appeared beside me, motioning to the glass bottles in front of us.

"Knock yourself out, it's not my house," I drank as I looked as Stefan who was smirking.

"You'll be happy to know that Rebekah will be ecstatic to know that you're back," Elijah smiled at me.

"I couldn't come back and not see my favourite original," I teased. "Tell her to be ready by eleven as we're going shopping," I asked before heading to haul my suitcase up the stairs.

"And where are you going?" Klaus asked.

"Bed,"

"At five o'clock in the afternoon?" Stefan raised his eyebrows.

"Yes, it's been a long day and I just need to go to bed,"

"Your room in the second room on the right," Stefan called up to me.

"Need a little company?" I heard someone say suggestively behind me, I stopped where I was on the stairs and turned round to see Kol leaning on the banister.

"Sorry, I don't take assholes to bed," I said as I carried on up the stairs until I reached my room, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell fast asleep.
