"Truth if you don't get down here now I am coming up there!!" yelled Skylar the alpha's only son. He is my top bully and abuser. I remember the last time he came up here because I overslept. Skylar dragged me down the stairs by my hair. Then he pulled back his fist and punched me in the mouth. He then elbowed me in my jaw. He then kicked me over and over again in my stomach. Then he punches me in the face repeatedly causing my nose to shatter then walked away saying" if I ever come up to your room to get you it will be worst." I remember after Skylar left I took a deep breath. It hurt my ribcage. I exhaled, inhaled again, inched my arms under me and pushed myself up on my hands and knees. My head swam. I felt my stomach tighten and I threw up, which hurt the ribs some more. I stayed that way for a bit, on my hands and knees with my head hanging, like a winded horse

I jumped out of bed ran downstairs to cook breakfast as I pushed the painful memory out of my head. As I made breakfast I remember that today is Skylar's and mines 19th birthday. That means my beating is going to be twice as bad then multiply that by ten. Just because Skylar's birthday and my birthday is the same day he has to take out all his drunken anger on me.

I continued cooking trying not to be seen by any of the other pack members. I was almost done cooking until I smelt the best smell in the world. It smelled like strawberries. I was excited that I stopped cooking and followed the smell until I came face to face with Skylar's door. My excitement turned to fear. Please moon goddess don't let Skylar be my mate. It might be one of Skylar's jock friends. I knocked on the door and no one answered it. I open the door and seen Skylar coming out of the bathroom. He had a towel wrapped around his waist hanging dangerously low. He looked up at me with love in his eyes. When he noticed it was me all that love turned to anger and hate.
