"How's your day?" Tanong ko sa kanya at umupo malapit kay Maegan. "Bored. You're not hear, how can I enjoy myself now?" Sabi niya while pouting. I laugh a little dahil sa pagmumukha niya. I want to pull his lips real hard. "Why are you staring at my lips? Do you want to kiss it?" Tanong niya habang ngumisi.

This b*stard.

"How about punching you in the lips? That's what I want." I said, smiling at him. "You're no fun." He said and sighed while staring at me. "U-uhh Hi Sir." He suddenly said, making me look at my back and saw my Dad, looking at him like he's having thoughts of killing him.

"Papa." Tawag ko sa kanya at niyakap siya. "I missed you, how's your day?" Tanong ko sa kanya. He hugged me back tightly at hinalikan ako sa buhok. "My day is always as busy darling. Umuwi ka naman ng madalas dito, hindi yung umaabot pa ng dalawang linggo bago ka makauwi sa amin." He said. His accent didn't even fade while talking.

"You know I'm busy right. I'm sorry." Sabi ko sa kanya at bumitaw sa pagkakayakap. "So who's that person?" Tanong ni Papa sa akin sabay tingin sa cellphone ko. I thought that Felix hang up the call but it turns out he's still there, waving at Papa.

"My friend." Sabi ko sa kanya honestly.

"He doesn't sound like a friend to me. What do you want to my daughter?" He asked him while looking at him intently. "I want nothing Sir, I'm just one of her friends." Felix said casually, didn't even feel afraid.

"Nothing?" He asked, making sure if Felix wanted something. Felix nods respectfully and smiled at him, making papa look at me with curiosity in his eyes. "May lahi ba itong koreano, Mika?" Tanong ni Papa sa akin na agad ko namang ikina-iling.

"Wala po Sir. I'm pure." Sabi ni Felix sa kanya at natawa ng mahina. "Baka niloloko mo lang ako. Oh siya sige, diyan muna kayo at ako muna'y lalambingin ang mama niyo." He said in a sweet yet mischievous tone. I laugh at him at agad na hinarap sa akin ang aking cellphone.

"Sorry about that." I said, apologizing for my Papa's rude action. Felix just shrugged it off. "No, it was fun seeing how your father's reaction is just the same with you." He said, making me confused, I mean it's technically that we have the same reactions and such because I am the first born pero in what way does he mean na we have this similar reaction to him?

He seemed to notice my confusion because the side of his lips went up. "I remember you saying if may lahi ba ako. Even your friends asked if may lahi ba ako which I said na wala. But seeing you with your father, asking the same thing, it made me laugh." He said to me, making me feel my burning cheeks again.

"I wouldn't want to disturb you with your parents kaya I'll call you later na lang. Talk to me mamaya please." He pleaded which I nodded naman since gusto ko pa ding makausap sila mama. "See you later, Mika." He said softly.

"See yah." I said while waving my hands. He turned off the call. The call ended so I went inside our house, only to see Mama, lying on Papa's lap. Sweet as always, Papa combed her hair saying something or should I say whispering something sweet.

"Mama, Papa sa kwarto muna ako, matutulog." Paalam ko sa kanila at dumiretso sa kwarto ko. "Gigisingin na lang kita mamaya kapag kakain na." Mama said to me at tinanguan ko na lang bago pumasok sa kwarto ko. I said that I was born in a family that is poor but it doesn't mean that were actually poor. My humble home was in the middle, both poor and both rich ay the same time.

Seeing that my room is clean, I knew Mama always cleans this place kaya I dive into my bed and comfortably positioned myself. When my head hit the pillow, all the fatigue I experienced and the tiredness of my body began to move and without doubt I fell asleep.

"Honey, it's time to wake up." Someone said making me open my eyes. I looked at it and it was Mom. In our household, we speak three dialects, Bisaya, Tagalog and English because nakasanayan na when mom was working, English should be their language.
