"...Go!"
Katya POV
I crack open the window into Adam's room, typical guy, clothes everywhere, and it stinks. Ewww!
Anyway, I sneak down the stairs trying not to make them squeak, and I give Luca the signal,
The smoke bomb he rolled under the dining table goes off and I hear Alex creak open the backdoor,
Sophia screamed, "what is happening?! Omg!! Adam!"
"Calm down Sophia!"
While they scream at eachother I manage to grab Adam.
"Don't talk." I demand.
He nods his head fear in his eyes.
I lead him out and tell him to hide, before turning back to grab the engineer and Adam's dad.
I manage to find them hiding behind the kitchen island, shaking with fear.
We walk out and I push them into the bushes before running back inside to help Alex contain Sophia.
I walk up beside Alex,
"Hey," I whisper
"The plans, table" he manages to tell me before Sophia struggles out of his grasp.
I duck out of sight, it's imperative she doesn't see me, or our cover could be blown.
I crawl around to where the plans are and snatch them just before Sophias pink manicured nails scrape the table where the plans were.
She needs the plans for her father, she must've saw this as an opportunity.
Alex grabs her hand back and handcuffs her before putting a blindfold on.
"Your in danger, Sophia come with us quietly."
She nods, "did father send you?" She asks.
"No questions!" Alex said sharply.
He leads her out to the van, telling Oliver to go back to base.
"What about you two?"
"We'll meet you there." Alex confirms. "Now go!"
We watch them drive off, and head back inside to try and clear the smoke.
"ADAMMM!! You guys can come back now!!!"
We yell.
Through the last bit of smoke, three figures emerge, coughing and waving the smoke clear.
We let them go back inside, and quickly explain what happened.
"Who are you guys?" Adam's father asked.
"We can't answer that," I say bluntly.
"Long story short, your friend over there was in danger, someone caught wind of his nuclear blueprints and decided to try and take them. Luckily you're all safe."
"Where are my plans?"
"We are holding on to them for safekeeping, we've already cleared it with your higher ups, you won't get in trouble." We explain.
I feel Adam's eyes boring into mine and turn to him, he looks down like he's afraid of me.
