Chapter 42: The Plan

"Where were you?" She asked popping her head out of the bathroom

"I left downstairs to go leave the plates from the food we ate" I replied grabbing a towel

"Oh okay, thanks. Now go shower we have a fun day ahead of us" She brightly said

"Yes ma'am" I said with a smile as I walked in to the shower. The room had a bathroom but it wasn't like a regular bathroom. The sinks were first then there was a door leading to the toilet and shower. I closed the door and started to shower, taking care of my hair

I finished showering and threw my a towel on my head. I walk out the shower room and start doing my skin routine that Tenten created for me. I throw on my pants and Tenten starts to brush my hair

"Your hair smells good" Tenten said smelling it

"It's those hair products I got from Ino and Hinata" I said

"Ino has beautiful hair and so does Hinata, no wonder you guys have such nice hair. I'll brush it out for you" Tenten said as she grabbed three hairbrush

"You have nice hair too. Thanks" I said

She added another hair product to make my hair easier to brush. She slowly started to brush it, being very careful to not pull it or damage it. She takes her time and finishes. I change into my shirt and put on my sandals

"Do I look cute?" She asked turning around as she wore a black top with red and pink details with black pants as well. Her hair was in her usual style, two hair buns

"Yes like always" I replied as I walked towards her and hugged her from the waist

"Awe" she said as she kissed me on the cheek

"Now come one let's go, I'll buy you any weapon you want" I said

"Yes!" She screamed excitedly

We headed off the shop, walking around the town and enjoying the view. As we arrived to the shop Tenten started smiling, running around the store looking at kunai and other weapons. Of course I got her the Katana she liked and a few double bladed kunai.

"They are beautiful" Tenten exclaimed happily

"I'll get all of these for you. Get a new scroll as well" I said

"Are you sure?" She asked

"Yes we'll get all of this" I said to the man who was in charge of the store I pulled out my wallet and paid as Tenten happily summoned the weapons to the scrolls. We left with a happy and enthusiastic Tenten.

Next up we got coffee and shopped around. Tenten got a me a panda stuffed animal and a light purple dress shirt. I got her a soft white cardigan. Afterwards we went to get the massages.

We left back to the inn. As we walked in I heard "Neji Hyuga? Sir someone left a urgent message to call them back it was important they said"

"Yes, thank you for letting me know" I said as I grabbed the phone, calling back

"Lord Neji, you need to come back to the village" A member of the Hyuga clan said

"What happened?" I asked

"We are having a issue with a allied clan" He said

"I will do my best to get there as soon as possible, thank you. Please tell Hinata to pack her things so she can come and spend time with Tenten" I said as Tenten looked at me in shook

"Yes Lord Neji" they said as they hung up

"What's going on?" She asked, clearly worried about what I had just said

"I have to get going, there's issues happening back at home" I said as we walked to the room

"So let's get going?" Tenten said

"No, I'm having Hinata come here to stay with you. I don't want you getting involved in this mess. It's better if you stay here with her" I said

"Are you sure?" She asked

"Yes plus I want you to enjoy your last day" I said kissing her forehead

"Awe okay" She sadly said

"I'll pack my stuff quickly and leave. Hinata will be there shortly because Naruto is bringing her" I said

She watched me pack and I left kissing her again and apologizing

~ Tenten ~
I hear Neji's conversation with the clan. He quickly rushes back to our room and starts packing. I can't stop myself from feeling sad.

He  kisses me on my forehead and lips before he leaves. I sadly wave as a final goodbye. I close the door and throw myself on the bed. I take off my shoes and get inside the bed

I hug my pillow, it smells like Neji. I slowly start to fall asleep. It's later at night and I get woken up by knocking on the door

"Tenten, it's me Hinata" I heard outside the door I slowly got up to open the door

"Hello" I softly said as I rubbed my eyes

"Did I wake you up?" She asked

"Oh yeah but it's fine" I said walking back to the bed

"Neji nii-san is taking care of business back home. He was hoping we could spend a girls night" She added

"Oh yeah sure, I have snacks and other treats but how about we go get dinner?" I said knowing that I didn't want her spring on the bed, it was sorry plus we needed new sheets

"Sure, let's go" She said

I quickly threw on my shoes and we left but I stopped by the front counter to ask for new clean sheets

We went to a small place close to the inn to have dinner. Hina seemed off but I didn't pay attention to it. We ate and left back to the room. We decided to go take a hot bath and do some face masks. Hinata is really like my sister, all we are missing is Hanabi. We  started to fall asleep

"Goodnight" Hinata said

"Goodnight Hina, sleep well" I said

"I'm excited for tomorrow" She said

Excited for what? I questioned

Tomorrow?
