Chapter 7: Take care

~ Neji ~
Hinata caught me and Tenten hugging and there i admitted to her that we both liked each other but we weren't dating. She knew it all along i've always liked her since young.

I think seeing Tenten like this makes me want to work more. She's learning medical ninjutsu, i feel reassured knowing that.

Shikamaru showed up with Naruto and Master Jiraiya

"Hey Neji you wanna go get some food. There's something important we need to talk about" Master Jiraiya said

"Sure" i replied even if I said no i still would've probably gone out to get something

"We'll see you there" Naruto screamed as they left

I wonder what we needed to talk about

I left and went to the bbq place i see them waiting for me. We all walk in and i see the girls with Lady Tsunade

As we get drinks and order food Master Jiraiya starts to talk

"Well the reason why I got you all together is not only to spend time with you guys but also to talk about something important. War might start all thanks to the Akatsuki coming after our jinchuriki. I need you all to train and get your skills ready. I'll be going with Tsunade for the 5 Kage meeting and we have intel that they will be there" he said

"So we have to be prepared for everything" Shikamaru said

"Yes" Master Jiraiya said

"All the girls are learning medical ninjutsu and anyone who wants to learn too talk to Tsunade. Medical ninja are necessary if we want to win this war" he said

"Lady Tsunade is was a key part of the 2nd shinobi world war, without her Konoha wouldn't have won" I said

"Yes, they are a very important part" he said

"You all also have to remember your loved ones many of you have girlfriends who will also be fighting. Be tough anything can happen in just a matter of seconds" Master Jiraiya said

"You will be worrying about Tenten" Naruto whispered to me

"What you're dating Tenten?!" Lee said shocked

"No, we are not dating" i said

"But you guys seem close" Naruto said teasing me

"But we are close friends" i said

"But close friends can also lead to crushes" Kiba said

"He does have a point" Naruto said

"Well who ever is dating who i don't care but just be ready. Once me and Tsunade come back from the 5 Kage meeting we will all talk to you" Master Jiraiya said

"Also we have training all of us together" Naruto said

"Yes in order to help each other with our skills. For example Neji could help us with taijutsu" Shikamaru said

"Yeah sure" i replied

As we slowly moved on from that topic to another random and stupid topic to talk about

As we all finished we all payed our part, Master Jiraiya was drunk so Naruto left with him. I joined Hinata and Tenten. All i could think of was the war. Was this really happening.

The two girls I cared the most for, i would protect them with everything. Lady Hinata is my sister, i will always protect her as the older brother i am to her.

And Tenten i love her with all my heart. I love her as a women, i see her as the girl i want to be with. She brings me butterflies to my stomach

Tenten stayed over the night, all I could feel was butterflies in my stomach. She always looks so pretty sleeping. She fell asleep fast, as i played with her hair. Once I started feeling like I was falling asleep I kissed her cheek

"Goodnight, my love" i said as I fell asleep.

*Fast foward it's the next morning*

I woke up early and made us tea and food. Everyone had to wake up early for training. In a few days it's the 5 Kage meeting.

"Good morning" i said to Tenten as i woke her up

"Good morning" she said with a smile

"I made us breakfast, can you please go wake up Lady Hinata" i said

"Sure, and thanks" she said a she got up

I went back to the kitchen and set up their plates, a few minutes later they came back

"Good morning Neji nii-san" said Hinata

"Good morning Lady Hinata, i made breakfast for the 3 of us" i said

"Thank you" both said with a smile

"This will help for our training" i said

"Yes it will" Tenten said with a smile

We all ate and talked. Once we finished i washed the dishes and i started to change

"Bye" Tenten and I said as we left for training with Guy Sensei

I keep thinking about it

We all train and then me and Tenten part our ways

"Bye, take care" I said as i kissed her forehead

"Bye Neji, take care too" she said as she hugged me

We walked opposite ways

~ Tenten ~
I said my goodbyes to Neji and walked to my training with Lady Tsunade

"You're the first one here, shows you're ready to learn" said Lady Tsunade as she saw me arrive

"Great" i said

"Tenten i have a question" Lady Tsunade asked

"What is it my lady?" I asked

"Are you learning all this medical ninjutsu because of Neji?" She asked

"Well he's half of the reason the other reason is helping Guy Sensei and Lee as well our team doesn't have a medical ninja like the rest do" i said

"Wait my lady how do you know about Neji" i asked

"Well i saw you and Neji and since now you came to me about learning medical ninjutsu" she said

"He was part of my decision" i said

"Young love" she said with a smile "You remind me of when I was in love with Dan"

"Well it is young love, he hasn't asked me out but we want to take things slow"  i said

"Good, you still need to give me the wine" she said

"I'll bring it later" i said

Then Ino arrived and minted later both Hinata and Sakura arrived

Training went on for hours. I was killing myself but I started to learn

Turns out I was good at medical ninjutsu

As it was late probably 10pm we all left and went home

Neji brought me Ramen, he left a note on the counter to take care and see you tomorrow

I ate and then took a shower and fell asleep fast

I had never felt this tired
