Chapter 5: I had butterflies in my stomach

~ Neji ~
I grabbed the blankets from her closet. As we stood next to each other i realized how short she was. She had a long mirror in front of her vanity. You could only see my chin while she could see herself perfectly. Her room was clean, he whole house was well kept together. She lived alone. I liked her house somehow it felt cozy.

We went downstairs and watched a movie while eating ice cream. I think this is the first time I've genuinely smiled.

We kept watching movies until the both of us fell asleep cuddling.

~ Fast foward it's the next morning ~

~ Tenten ~
I wake up and realize we both fell asleep on the couch. I check the time it's 8:07am. He was hugging me all night, i try to get up to make some tea but he also wakes up

"What time is it" he asked as he slowly opened his eyes

"Good morning it's 8:09am" i replied

"We fell asleep last night" he said with a smirk

"Well i think I fell asleep first" i said

"Yes you did, good thing it's our day off" he said as he pulled me in closer

"Are you hungry?" I asked

"A little bit" he replied

"I'll make you something to eat" i said

"Sure, I'll help" he said as he got up from the couch

As we both started making breakfast we laughed and had fun. We just made eggs and pancakes. We ate and talked more about our childhoods. Once we were done I did the dishes as he got his things.

"I'm going home" he said

"Okay, I'll probably go train a bit" i said

"Sure, maybe I'll go too it depends unless the guys plan to meet up" he said

"Okay yeah sure" i said as i walked towards him and kissed him on the cheek

"Thank you Tenten" he said as he hugged me and kissed me on the forehead

After that he left

All i could think of was how happy I was, i had butterflies in my stomach. I just hope this doesn't ruin our team work or anything like that

I finish cleaning up and I go shower

Once im out of the shower I decided to do something i never thought I would

I go to the Hokages office to see Lady Tsunade. I walk confidently

"Lady Tsunade I would like to learn medical ninjutsu" i said as i walked in

"Are you sure? Since when do you want to learn?" She asked

"Yes i am sure, I've realized that in order to furthermore support my team i should learn medical ninjutsu. None of us know so it would be good to learn, every other team has a medial ninja except us" i said

"I like that, here take these books and I'm warning you this will be hard" she said with a smirk on her face

"Yes, thank you" i said as i took some of the books and scrolls

"Tomorrow come after your training is done with Guy. I'll be here with the rest of the girls. You all will help each other in this, okay Tenten" she said as she took a sip of her tea

"Yes my lady" i said as I left

As i leave her office i see Hinata

"Hi Tenten" she said

"Oh hey Hinata, how are you?" I asked

"I'm good, what were you doing here?" She asked

"I was talking to lady Tsunade about her teaching me medical ninjutsu. Ive realized that I need to learn it to help our team" i said

"You'll do great Tenten, it's hard but so far I've learned the basics" she said

"Thanks" i said

"Do you want to go to my house, I'll help you train if you want to" she said

"Sure, thanks Hinata" i said as we started walking together

We arrive there and Neji is there training with Hinata's father

"Hello, Tenten. What are you girls doing?" He asked

"I'm helping Tenten start her medical training" Hinata said

"You're learning medical ninjutsu?" He asked

"Yes, i think this will help in the future" i said with a smile

"That's good, also Hinata Sakura came by looking for you but she said she would be back later" he said

"Okay thank you Neji nii-San" she said as we walked inside

I started to look at the scrolls and books she gave me. Hinata brought her notes and other books. As we started studying, Sakura came by about an hour later

"Hi Sakura" Hinata said as she put her pencil down

"Hey Hinata and Hi Tenten. What are you doing?" Sakura asked

"Tenten is finally learning medical ninjutsu" Hinata replied

"That's great, Tenten did Lady Tsunade tell you about tomorrow?" Sakura asked

"Yes, she did" i said

"Good, well me and Ino wanted to ask you both if you wanted to go eat and get together. I think there's something we should all talk about" Sakura said

"Okay, yeah sure. Isn't Temari in town?" I asked

"Yes, we already asked her" Sakura said

"Oh okay, yeah we'll see you later" Hinata said

"Sure, bye" Sakura said as she closed the door

"I wonder what is so important" i said

"I don't know. Do you want some tea?" Hinata asked

"Sure" i said as i started to stretch

I didn't realize how much work it was

Hinata left and Neji came in

"How's the studying going?" He asked

"It's going good, it's a lot but I'll get though it" i said

"That's good, i believe in you" he said as he hugged me from the back

"Thank you" I said as Hinata walked in

She saw that Neji was hugging me

"I was right" she said with a smile

Neji turned around and he stopped hugging me. He was red like a tomato

"I knew it, last night you didn't come home and spent the night with Tenten" she said

I just got red

"I'm sorry Hinata" I said

"Don't be I'm happy Neji nii-San finally has a girlfriend. I was right you did like her even if you tried to say you did you did" she said to Neji

"Wait so you talked about me?" I said shocked

"Well yes" he said even more embarrassed

"Wait so are you guys dating?" Hinata asked?

"No, but we did admit our feelings to each other" i said

"That's good, take things slow" Hinata said

"Anyways let's keep studying" i said

"Okay I'll leave you two alone" Neji said as he got up and left

We kept studying until it was time to leave to go meet up with the girls
