Chapter 3: "I don't think he feels that way"

~ Tenten ~
As we are relaxing in the hot springs i want to ask Hinata and Temari about how to deal with my feelings towards Neji

but also i was scared because Hinata could tell Neji, i didn't want to make things awkward between us so i just kept my mouth shut

"this is relaxing" said Hinata

"it really is after a long day of work" i said

"yeah i saw you guys training" Temari said

"you know it Guy Sensei is always making us train everyday no matter what" i said

"Neji nii-san is always tired after training i try to make sure i make food for him" Hinata said

"he's always over working himself" i said

"but you know that's how shinobi are, we are always working hard no matter what there's always chaos" Temari replied

"and now these rumors going around about another great ninja war, i'm just hopping it's all false" i said

"i think it is unless one of the great five nations says it's not then that's when i'll worry" Temari said

"yeah let's hope there's peace" Hinata said

"yeah, i would hate to go thru a war" i said

"yes, so many people would be injured" Hinata said

"i would also be worried about that cry baby, he is smart but still if something happens to him i would loose it" Temari said as she chuckled

"knowing Naruto, he would be in the front lines fighting and we all know he is a bit of a knuckle head and acts on his own" Hinata said

"so what about you Tenten?" Temari said as she focused her attention on me

"what do you mean?" i asked confused

"by what i mean is girl why don't you find someone special" Temari said

"i thought you and Neji nii-san would get together" Hinata added to it

"why do you think that?" i asked as if it wasn't obvious

"well you both spend time together, he's always thinking of you for example whenever we go buy groceries or anything like that he'll buy it and give it to you like your favorite candy or snacks" Hinata  replied

"You know what Hinata has a point" Temari said

"Uh but we are just team mates, nothing else" I said

"Well i hope you both end up together, a part from me you are the only girl that's been friends with him from the longest" Hinata said

"I don't think he feels that way" i said

"Wait so you do like him" Temari said

"No no no" i said trying not to get red

"Are you sure?" She asked

"Yes... well i don't know" i replied i couldn't allow anymore

"See we were right" Temari said

"It's just he's always so cold and i can't understand him sometimes. Hes quite and in his own world, he never shows any emotions that's why i don't know what's up with him" I said

"Well maybe Neji nii-san does like you" Hinata said

"I don't know, maybe?" I said

"Maybe he will start dropping little hints" Temari said

"Yeah hopefully" I said

We stayed in there for a little longer then decided to get changed and meet with the boys

"How about we get some food?" Naruto said

"Sure" everyone said

We decided to get barbecue

As well all walked there, I just kept thinking about it and maybe he does feel like that but then also he might not

We got there and started to order, i thought Neji would sit next to Naruto instead he went to sit next to me

I didn't know what to do I just got nervous

We order our food and meats. I get the plate of meat i ordered for me and Neji. He told me to order for him

"Here's the rice" i said as i passed it to Neji

"Thank you" he said as he grabbed the bowl and plate full of meat

"I'll start cooking the meat" he said

He slowly placed the meat on the fire and started to cook it he grabbed my plate and started to put the cooked meat on there

"All of the couples are together" Hinata said

Me and Neji looked at each other, as he slowly got red

"Well maybe you too but we aren't dating" i said

"That's true we are just good friends and team mates" he said still looking red

We both laughed it off trying not to be awkward

~ Neji ~
She looked so pretty and happy eating so I ended up cooking the meat for her and giving her first her part

"Here you go" i said as i gave her plate

"Thank you" she said with a smile

As Hinata said that i felt myself getting red and hot, why was she saying this? I was confused. But not surprised. Maybe she was talking about me to them? No no i don't think so

We both laughed it off

We all ate and enjoyed our time together. Lady Hinata left with Naruto and Shikamaru left with Temari

Once again it was just me and Tenten

"I'll walk you to your house" i said

"Sure" she said as she nodded with a smile
