AVY groaned quietly as he moved towards his bedroom door, pulling it open to see Elena stood across the hall, their aunt stood halfway up the stairs and their history teacher stood beside her in his underwear.
"Oh my god" Avy rubbed his hand over his eyes.
"Avy" Jenna sighed.
"We didn't think anyone else was up" Alaric began.
"But here you are" Jenna said.
"We were just..." Alaric trailed off not knowing how to finish, instead holding out the bowl of ice cream "Chunky Monkey?"
"I'm good" Avy spoke, Elena nodding in agreement.
"Well...I'm naked" Alaric laughed awkwardly "So I'm gonna go"
Alaric moved across the hall towards Jenna's room, closing the door behind him.
"I'm really really sorry" Jenna apologised.
"It's okay, Jenna, don't worry about it" Avy smiled.
"I know he's been staying over a lot" Jenna sighed "Are you...are you sure it's okay?"
"Seems like things are good" Elena spoke.
"They're extremely good" Jenna grinned.
"Then we're extremely okay with it" Avy said.

Avy heard as Elena pulled the front door open, moving towards his god-sister's side, seeing the Salvatore brothers.
"Hey" Stefan greeted "Can we talk?"
"Why?" Elena replied.
"We went to see Katherine" Damon answered.
Elena and Avy exchanged a wary glance.

The doppelgänger leaned against the countertop, silent as she and Elena processed what they'd just learned.
"You don't believe her do you?" Avy asked.
"No, of course not" Damon defended "We just want the moonstone"
"According to Rose's friend, Slater, there's a way to destroy the spell that Klaus wants to break" Stefan began.
"No spell, no doppelgänger slash bloodline curse sacrifice" Damon smiled "Ergo you live"
"How do you destroy it?" Elena asked.
"By releasing it from the moonstone" Stefan answered.
"How do you guys even know this is gonna work?" Avy asked.
"Because we have a crafty witch on our side" Damon smirked.
"You discussed it with Bonnie" Elena sighed.
"She agreed to do anything she could to help us" Stefan spoke.
