"I'm not declining that offer, I'm not gonna squeeze you tight though, or else your wounds will hurt more than they do now" law hummed as he hugged (y/n) softly.
"thanks captain... For taking care of me so much" (y/n) hummed
"I told you, you can call me by my name... Even if I am your doctor as well, call me by my name." law hummed as (y/n) nods
"okay law... But, I'm just used to calling people by their status in my life. Like you being my captain... Well, for work that is" (y/n) shrugs
"here's a deal, you can call me 'captain' at work... But when we hang out, call me law... We're friends, right?" law asked
"yeah. We are... Best friends I guess" (y/n) hummed softly as law smiled

Later...
(y/n) accidentally tripped on something, Wilbur and techno stifled their laughter but then bursted.
Law scoffed and walked over to (y/n).
"are you okay (y/n)?" law asked as he helped her up

"tell me my child, what is trafalgar law to you?" Kristin asked as they walked through the balcony garden

"I'm his teacher, I am teaching him algebra and he sucks at it" she said hummed with pride/confidence.
Kristin chuckled with a mix of giggle at the thought of her own daughter teaching someone else algebra
"really? Well, if you're happy about it..." Kristin rubbed her head, "just keep going... Make sure you aren't stepping on someone else, okay?"
"okay mother"
Kristin smiled softly
Timeskip....
"I'm now healed, can we continue our journey now?" (y/n) asked as Kristin looked so unsure of the thought.

"I'll be fine. You worry too much, I understand you're my parents but... I want to do this, please?" (y/n) asked
Kristin hummed, still unsure.
"(y/n), they can continue... But please stay" Phil hummed
"no! I'm not staying" (y/n) huffed

"reasonable? The only reasonable shit here is you guys overly protective of me! Even before everything happened! You treat me like a damn child" (y/n) growled.
Kristin sighed
"(y/n), just promise me something... Come back... As a mortal human, every at least once a year... Just so me, or your father, know you're still okay"
"then... You'd let me go back into sea?" (y/n) asked as Kristin nods
"deal." (y/n) nodded

"really? That's their only deal?" law asked
"mhm. That's a good thing, right?"
"yeah... That's a good thing, and idea too... Come on, let's set a date" law got up and held her hand before walking into the navigation room
"maybe around... September? Or... Ooh! Christmas?" (y/n) asked excitedly
"spending every Christmas at your country? Not bad... But, will it be okay?" law asked
"it'll be fine, you guys are now part of the family, so... We celebrate it together" (y/n) said as law hummed
"that's good to know" law smiled as (y/n) nods.
Well, at least the date is now settled.
Timeskip....
"(y/n)-ya..." law called as (y/n) hummed.
Law peeked his head through the door of her bedroom making her look at him
"I was thinking..." law mumbled as he went in, closed the door behind him and walked over to her bed.
"that's bad" (y/n) laughed lightly
"haha... Well um..." law sat at the edge of her bed.
"what?" (y/n) asked
She didn't notice the faint blush on his cheeks though
"will you go out for dinner with me?" law asked
(y/n) hummed
"like- As a date or something?" (y/n) mumbled.
"yeah.... Will you?" law hummed nervously.
The two stared at each other for who knows how long.
Law started to sweat nervously in fear she'd actually decline
"sure" she simply said making him huff out a breath he didn't knew he even held.
"that's... That's great" law hummed as he scooted closer beside (y/n) and stretching with a wheeze.
"you thought I'd decline, didn't you?" (y/n) hummed as he nodded
"yeah... Kinda nervous, but... I didn't expect you to actually agree to it so... I don't know where to take you" law huffed
"I remember this Cafe, it's peaceful at morning, and very cute at night... Maybe that place, can we...?" (y/n) asked as law hummed
"of course, I've yet to see this Cafe" law nods and placed his head on her shoulder.
"eeekkk! I'm so excited" (y/n) hummed as law chuckled.
"yeah? let's get ready then" law hums softly.
"yay!"
Another time skip (idk what to do at this point so time skip for about 6 months)
Shachi, penguin, and the others eventually noticed the change in both (y/n) and law.
(they don't know they're dating)
Law seemed to be more free in terms of time and (y/n) seemed to be spending more time with him.
"you're so beautiful..." law hums softly as (y/n) chuckled
"go ahead, say that hundreds of times and I still won't kiss you" law huffed at her remark
"come on.... Please...?" law whined
