3rd pov

"what's this conversation about me?" (y/n)'s voice asked behind Niki in which she jumped with a shriek.

"(y/n)!! WHAT THE FUCK?!" Niki turned only to damn herself because (y/n) was already in front of her.

"I believe you have something of mine?" (y/n) mumbled and crossed her arms as Niki turned to her

"right... The book... Ehehehe..." Niki laughed shakily as she got up and walked over to the shelves.

"what are you doing here? As far as I know you, you aren't one to escape schedules" Niki said in search of the book

"I didn't escape the schedule, but I am running from something, I finished my job too." (y/n) mumbled, not even taking into account that law, shachi, ikkaku and penguin was there.

"escape? From who?"

"dearest cousin..."

"which one? You have like... Three"

"the one that simps and whines like a brat" (y/n) groaned under her breath.

Niki laughed and handed her the book

"now that you're here," Niki turned to the coffee table, "want some tea?"

"nah... I already have a snack" she mumbled.

"hmm? What-oh..." Niki sweat dropped when she turned and saw (y/n) munching on the cookies she made last night.

"where did you...?"

"saw it on the counter top, can't miss it" (y/n) shrugged

"then would you like some te- wait... Did you get some?"

"I've been here for three hours, you never noticed a thing" (y/n) sighed and took a big bite.

"how could I know?" Niki questioned

"your cabin is full of water and sea life creatures, I thought you were a cannibal or something for eating sea water creatures, then realized they're pets"

"what are you...? Oh! Oh! Hahaha! You mistook my pets for food?!" Niki yelled

"who wouldn't? They're named after famous foods back home, too" (y/n) shrugged.

"what?no they aren't?"

"yes they were, one was named migista magicule, a famous sweet delicacy" (y/n) grumbled.

"reeeeeaaaallly?? Awh... That's too bad haha..." Niki sweat dropped.

"this is book number one, you borrowed three books from me"

"oh-... Oh..." Niki sweated.

"yeah... Oh, and does father know?"

"of course not! Why would I?" (y/n) sighed.

"good... He'll kill me and-"

*doorbell

"who could that- oh no... The simp" Niki and (y/n) had eye contact,

"coming!!" Niki yelled and pushed (y/n) deeper into the house

Then came out and wiped her hands on her skirt

"don't say a word or I'll hunt your dreams" Niki stared at them making them pale.

Niki then opened the door

"hey niks, have you seen (y/n) anywhere? We were farming chaos cores and she just vanished" a deep voice asked
