****Two weeks later*****

Hearing everything about Ryley a few nights go didn't really freak me out. It was more of a worry. I was worried about her and if she really was okay.

She was meeting me for lunch. I was headed to the cafeteria to meet her. As I turned the corner she sat at the table farthest away.

"Hey babe." I said as I sat across from her.

"Hey." She said not seeming enthusiastic.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Just a bad day...Let's eat." She said changing the subject.

"Alright." I said as I followed her.

"What's with the cute hat?" She asked laughing.

"Oh crap. I had a surgery. I forgot I was wearing it." I said taking off the cartoon surgery cap.

"Looks hot." She teased.

"Are you making fun of it?" I asked teasing her.

"Maybe.. What happens if I was?" She asked.

"You'll see." I said putting my hand on her arm.

"Oh really? Right here?" She asked.

"Your lucky I don't want to embarrass you." I said into her ear.

"Your so full of yourself." She said as her hand went behind my back.

After we got our food we got back to our table.

"How was the doctors appointment?" I asked.

"I want you to come with me in few weeks when I have to go back." She said quietly.

"I will definately go with you.. Did something go bad?" I asked.

"No..Just some stuff. I talked to her about you and she thinks it's best if you come with me." She said.

"Yeah sure.. I'm down for going."

"So about tonight I was wondering if you just wanted to stay in tonight instead of going to Willie's." She said.

"Yeah..I'll make something for supper."

"No you won't.. I have something planned already." She said taking another bite.

"You and your master plans." I teased. I loved when she came up with ideas.

"You better get back to work thou..I will see you after." She said as she stood up and got her stuff.

"You want me to take that?" I asked.

"No.. I got it." She said as I followed her.

She dumped her tray first and I followed her.

"Well... I will see you after work." I replied kissing her.

"Okay." She replied.

"Hey, How did that article go then?" I asked.

"Great! I'll tell you about it tonight." She said kissing me once more.

"Love you." I said as she left.

I made my way back to the locker room to get my water bottle and check in with Noah.

"Hey man!" Noah said as I entered the locker room.

"Hey." I replied.

"How's everything going?" He asked.

"Not bad."
