The wedding. Finally. The event that took away some nights of sleep and emotional stability from me.
Ignoring the fact that I had a horrible hangover and the man who'd taken my clothes off the night before was the groom, I was feeling good. I wasn't one of the bridesmaids because of obvious reasons, but Dam wanted to put me and Leo in the front row of the church.
In that huge hotel room, I was being prepared by makeup artists and hairdressers for a little over 2 hours. I have to say, they did a great job, especially covering the scars on my arms and legs. Moments later, my dress had arrived in my room, covered in plastic cape. The place was a real mess, with people constantly coming and going there, even one of the stylists had to be called in a hurry because of damage to one of the bridesmaids' dresses. After I had my makeup and hair done, one of the assistants walked me to a separate space to help me to put on the dress, which was slightly difficult to put on. When she took off that white plastic wrap around the dress, I was amazed at my stylist's work. A black dress, with a kind of a corset on the top, and tulle on the bottom. I had cut my hair above my collarbone, which highlighted the accessories I wore: a gold necklace with a small bee, a gold bracelet, and a few rings. Among them, was a silver and gold ring.

Moments later, Lorenzo was also ready. He was wearing a dark gray suit, a light gray tie, and a white button-up shirt. His hair had a little bit of gel on it, leaving his bangs slightly up. Visually, he looked like my perfect match.
Ethan and Leo were just passing through the room. They were both dressed similarly, with a small white flower on their chest. Anyone could see Leo's nervousness at that point, he wouldn't stop pacing, it got to the point where one of the people had to give him a tranquilizer.
"Vic, have you seen Damiano?" he asked.
"No, why?"
"An unforeseen event happened..."
"What unforeseen?"
"It's nothing to worry about, it's just that.... anyways, I'll tell you everything later."
Just as I was putting on my high heels, Damiano walked by too, very excited.
"Hi...Wow, Vic, you are..."
"Beautiful..." completed Lorenzo.
"Thank you, Dam, good luck for today."
"Everything will be fine," he said, giving Lorenzo a strange look. "Did you...cut your hair?"
"Yes, this morning."
"Anyways," he sighs. "Have you seen Leo?"
"He just stopped by with Ethan, but I think he's on the balcony."
"Ahhh ok, thanks Victo," he said, kissing me on the forehead. "Can you come and meet me in 5 minutes?"
