CHAPTER 19 - RELATIONSHIP

I started at the door. Ilang beses nang kumatok si Rei pero hindi ko magawang pagbuksan.

"Please, sweetheart, I swear I'll tell you everything. Please..." nahimigan ko ang sakit sa boses ni Rei. Saglit kong nilingon ang mga kapatid na mahimbing na natutulog. Kung hindi ko siya pagbubuksan, baka magising sila Yasheen.

"Hindi ko na maalala kung paano kami tuluyang nakatakas but I know there's someone who managed to helped us. Ever since that day, I begged my parents to change my name and fly to the States to recover from my trauma. They managed to use their connections and changed my name to Rei. Franchesca's the strong one and moved on after all those years but I haven't been able to."

"That's how I became Rei Lyone Monteverde. Though eventually, people started to know about my real name since I'm now the chairman of the airlines. I need to use my real name to fully grasp the ownership."

He forced himself to smile and glance at my direction. Tumulo ang luha mula sa mga mata ko nang marinig ang kuwento. He was tortured!
