???'s Pov
"Hello Belos." my voice falters as I wonder if this was the right way to address him.
My knees dig harder into the stone floor.
Sweat forms on my face as the silence drags on longer. Anxiety is twisting knots in my stomach.
As I'm on the verge of a breakdown, Belos slashes through the silence.
"Off your knees, my liege.", Belos orders, "I have a mission for you." Silence fills the room as Belos waits for my answer.
"Yes, Belos." I say, my words almost getting stuck in my throat.
"I want you to watch the Owl Lady, and when you are ready, perform an arrest.", Belos stated, "You can leave now."
I stand up and leave the room.
Walking through the hallway, I stop at a window.
Looking out of it, I can see the inferior town of Bonesborough.
Maybe if I was able to see further, I would see the Owl Lady's house. I smile as I think about my mission.
I have a score to settle.
